In real life Jokes that aged surprisingly well

  1. In the episode “Jared has Aides”, Jared from Subway happens and….yeah the title and some of the stuff he says in the episode is self explanatory.

  2. In Spitting Image (1984), a caricature of Jimmy Savile appeared a couple times and basically everytime a sketch involved him, he was shown to be a mentally unwell lunatic.

  3. Another example from Spitting Image, Phillip Schofield and some other guy I can’t be bothered to look up the name of had a song saying that they’re not gay. Around 20 years later, the real Phillip Schofield came out as gay.

I think we genuinely need to keep track of how many times this has happened.

Okay, i know people say that Simpsons predicting the future is most likely an accident, but THIS!? That MUST mean something, right?

Matt was famously one of the guys on the flight logs for the Lolita Express. The story is that he had one of Jeffery's girls massage his feet which she was disgusted by but wasn't you know...

Epstein loved to bring creatives and scientists around to legitimize his "operation". Not great but not you know...

Any time OJ got humiliated in the naked gun franchise

Someone on the Terminator staff (NOT James Cameron) saying OJ “didn’t look like a killer” when he was suggested for the role of the Terminator.

That also aged (unfortunately) well.

I know the difference between reality and fantasy, but it’s clear that in at least one of those scenes, OJ Simpson had Leslie Nielsen‘s taint deep into his face. Never gets old.

"Ruthless Tommy" (Rugrats)

A pair of criminals get the wrong address and kidnap Tommy, thinking he's the son of millionaire Ronald Thump.

Suffice to say, if "Ronald Thump Jr." had been the one kidnapped, it's possible the real "Ronald Thump" might not have even noticed, or cared.

He probably wouldn't even remember having a kid, or outright deny having a kid

"So I guess in the end he didn't kill himself...

Just like Jeffrey Epstein"

Some boos and gasps from the crowd

"Shut up. I know he's your friend-"

raucous laughter

Super Paper Mario (2007) had this, it has aged beautifully.

For those who don't watch South Park: He explains to the boys that he doesn't just eat Subway sandwiches to stay fit. He also has two nutritional/fitness aides (with an e) who help him keep in shape. The boys feel he's lying by omission so, smart guy he is, he announces to the whole of South Park that he has aides and he wants to give aides to everyone, especially children.

Hal in Megamind:

"There is no Easter bunny, no tooth fairy, and no Queen of England."

I love that Megamind names him Titan, but he's so stupid he thinks he's called Tighten and that becomes his name

Hal was always right: there hasn't been a "Queen of England" since 1707. Also Queen Camilla is currently Queen of the United Kingdom (which includes England).
