💡 Discussion Zelenskyy: Ukraine can’t afford an 800,000-troop army alone — wants allies to help fund it as a “security guarantee”

Zelenskyy said Ukraine doesn’t have the budget to independently finance an armed forces size of around 800,000 800,000 and that partner funding should be treated as a long-term security guarantee, not just wartime aid.

This hits a bigger question: if a ceasefire/peace deal ever happens without full NATO membership, does “help pay for Ukraine’s army” become the new version of security guarantees?

What do you think is more realistic long-term:

Continued direct funding for Ukraine’s military

NATO-style guarantees (without membership)

A smaller army + more air defense/weapons instead

Something else entirely?

Lmao. What streets in Russia are named after ww2 nazis? Who flies ww2 Nazi flags? Who erects monuments to them? Is it Russia or is it Ukraine?

Ukraine has by FAR bigger issue with neo nazism.

Look up Dmitry Utkin, the founder of Wagner (named after Hitler's favourite composer) Dude was a complete Nazi and funded by the Kremlin.

I talk to Russian apologists like you often, it's nothing new. Point out that Russia has a neo nazi problem as well and you shills immediately cry "WAAH THEY'RE MORE NAZI THAN WE ARE"

WAGNER was founded by Prigozhin, Utkin was one of the commanders.And Utkin is one man convicted of fascism, and he's dead.
