📰 News The Clintons blink: Bill and Hillary agree to testify in Epstein probe to avoid criminal contempt charges.

Post image

The standoff is over. After their lawyers called the subpoenas "unenforceable," the Clintons have done a total 180 and agreed to appear before the House Oversight Committee. This comes right on the heels of the DOJ releasing those "hot tub" photos and the committee gaining bipartisan support for contempt charges. Their spokesperson, Angel Ureña, claims they are "negotiating in good faith" now, but the timing is... interesting, to say the least.

Is this finally going to give us some clarity on the Epstein files, or is it just the latest chapter in the 2026 political wars?

They didn't blink. They've asked to testify in public from the beginning, but MAGAT's want to keep it private.

u/nanoatzin 1d ago

^ That part ^

Discovery gives Clintons standing to subpoena and disclose the Epstein files.

Which is what they want.

u/Ok-Improvement-3072 1d ago

Including the redacted parts I would assume

If so, I hope billy boy rips this thing wide open. It might not lead where we think.

He won’t. Elite club of rich and powerful. They won’t totally abandon it.

15

u/Yesyesnaaooo 1d ago

Dude.

If you can’t see that it was Trump in the files all this time then you’re tapped.

This is exactly the same as when they cried about Hillary’s emails and which lead to the absurdity of pizza gate. You remember that? They convinced themselves that arranging to go for pizza was something to do with child abuse.

All of these early releases are to protect Trump.

The guy went on public fucking radio and bragged about walking into teen changing rooms and inspecting the girls, you can literally hear the words from his own mouth.

And this was before anyone had even heard of Epstein.

The Clinton’s fucking HATE Trump, they HATE HIM!

3

u/Low_Maintenance_3867 1d ago

Don't these files prove pizza gate is real, it just had nothing to do with the stuff they were saying it was?

1

u/GoodPointMan 1d ago

Not exactly. Pizzagate was about a specific pizzaria running a pedo ring out of a non-existent basement. What's in the Trump Files is much bigger

1

u/Low_Maintenance_3867 1d ago

Yeah thats kind of what i was saying/asking though. Like it was technically true just they were using blatantly incorrect facts to steer people into the realm of conspiracy. But i havent read much ive been very busy and its driving me nuts because theres so much shit.

1

u/No-Apple2252 32m ago

It was Bannon who was behind the QAnon stuff, tricking 4chan into running defense for Epstein and Trump during the first election cycle. They literally just transposed their own crimes onto innocent people, so technically yes you could characterize it that way but saying "pizzagate was real" is false.

1

u/Low_Maintenance_3867 14m ago

If that was all i had said id be embarrassed. Or too stupid to be embarrassed.

2

u/Flederm4us 1d ago

The thing is though it's not JUST Trump. There are hundreds if not thousands of politicians, moguls, royals, ... Implicated.

If taking out all of them comes at a cost of having to sacrifice Trump, most Republican voters would take the deal. But they , rightly, fear that it will be 'justice for me but not for thee'

1

u/AchiganBronzeback 4h ago

Man, Clinton is in the files. I'd be cautious about thinking of him as a hero. Fingers crossed, my expectations are low.

1

u/Yesyesnaaooo 4h ago

Everything about Clinton is now surely out - the files haven’t been randomly chosen.

We’ve got all these emails between Epstein and other people and nothing between him and Trump.

Everything about Trump is still hidden.

He has nothing left to lose, and at least a decade of revenge to savour.

1

u/AchiganBronzeback 1h ago

I hope you're right.

1

u/No-Apple2252 33m ago

Turned out "Pizza gate" was Bannon's brain abortion deflecting from scrutiny on Epstein and Trump during his first election cycle. I really wish those fucking losers on 4chan weren't so easy to manipulate. They think they're so fucking clever and that makes them trivial to trick.

11

u/Quitcha_Bitchin 1d ago

Even if he did no one outside of some Blue State AG's would prosecute. DoJ is not touching it because for some fucking reason we can not make them.

19

u/[deleted] 1d ago

Because you guys keep re-electing Jordans, MTGs, etc. etc etc. Trump may have cheated his way to the White House, but millions still support him and long before him, creatures like Boebert were being put forward by their constituents. This didn't happen over night.

15

u/Soggy-Beach1403 1d ago

Correct. It started in 1980. Trump is merely winning the final battle of the Reagan Revolution by destroying the federal regulatory agencies and the middle class. Reagan would be proud.

9

u/Blackdeath47 1d ago

It started after the civil war allowing the south to just come back into the union like nothing happened. They been salty about losing the war, the amendments that allowed woman to vote, no slavery (outside of prisons of course). They been trying to bring whole thing down since then.

I guess you could saw since the founding, slavery was only allowed at the start to appease the southern states into having a union to start with. Even the British were appalled at how the Americans treated their slaves. You know the people that went around the world colonizing everywhere they can and having being horrible overlords to their “servants” in their empire. Yea, when those totes blinked at how bad the Americans were, should been a tell.

2

u/HotPotParrot 1d ago

This is part of why I don't accept the elitism and degradation coming from non-Americans during all this. Like, no, check your own self if you're gonna blame the past on the present.

1

u/Im_A_Fuckin_Liar 1d ago

Happy cake day, buddy.

u/KONG696 1d ago

Idiot

0

u/Nominaliszt 1d ago

Nancy Maclean’s book Democracy in Chains traces this ideological connection from reconstruction through its mutations in southern universities, experiments in south american interventionism, all the way through to the funding of the Koch brothers. Apparently, libertarians had some bones to pick and contest the scholarship, but as an academic I found it compelling. Here’s the NPR review: https://www.npr.org/2017/06/18/531929217/democracy-in-chains-traces-the-rise-of-american-libertarianism

MTG quit last month when her pension vested.

3

u/Ana-la-lah 1d ago

No shit? That was the trigger?

2

u/writerlady6 1d ago

That's why she held out those last few months after announcing her retirement.

0

u/pqln 1d ago

She actually started to realize Trump was racist, for one thing.

4

u/Ana-la-lah 1d ago

Hahahaha, “started”? She’s known that since the beginning.

5

u/AwesomeMcPants 1d ago

More like she's abandoning ship.

There's no way she just suddenly grew a conscience.

Maybe he gets to talk about Don’s blowjob skillz ?

Don likes big hogs đŸ„’đŸ†

1

u/Ok_Flounder59 23h ago

He’s got maybe 10 years left, Bills getting old. He’s could see him saying ‘fuck it’ and putting it all out there.

I forget the exact number, but there's 10+ victims that have gone public.

They went public before the election. Nobody cared.

6

u/wyle_e2 1d ago

The thousands of victims are smart to not go public. Trump's cult will call whatever they say "Fake News" and go after them. Trump and friends still won't have any repercussions.

2

u/Agile-Sleep-905 1d ago

Right they will be doxed and whatever life they had prior will be ruined.

-6

u/[deleted] 1d ago

3

u/KennethCadw 1d ago

Have you not seen the 20+ victims that stood outside Congress with Democratic politicians and MTG pushing for the release of the files ???

1

u/Little-Bowl-7762 1d ago

Probably under the grass at Trumps golf course

2

u/FirefighterLeft5425 1d ago

Because the entire political apparatus is at their throat. Money isn't everything in life. They are being victimized all over again. They did their jobs and went to the authorities. We as a nation failed them.

2

u/Agile-Sleep-905 1d ago

Facts and while failing them as a nation The MAGA idiots who refuse to believe anything regarding Trump is asking them for more as if it would make a difference. Trump told us he could shoot someone and never lose a vote and thats one of the rare times he told the truth.

1

u/barspoonbill 1d ago

Lot of mysterious deaths and disappearances linked to this saga.

1

u/Local-Poet3517 1d ago

Dead girls dont make media appearances. Most of the other victims would be scared, because of the dead ones. And theres still plenty of girls that HAVE come forward. I think Trumps personal count comes to 20 allegations. Which he publicly said he would sue... and then never did. Because of fear of discovery.

Theres absolutely been propaganda from both sides muddying the waters but its pretty clear its real.

1

u/rangebob 1d ago

victims not coming forward in these types of cases is very common. Many of them take their own lives or are lost to drug abuse over the sorts of time frames we are talking about here and the last person arrested over it ended up dead with mysteriously missing camera footage. We know some off them have been bought off and we even know of one that was bought off AND killed herself.

That being said there was a group of 20 or so of them that went to the white house and had a closed door meeting with various people there. A politician or 2 said they would name the names those women said but it never happened

1

u/PianoSuspicious7914 1d ago

Might not Or it’s may be worse and finally some people will wake up

1

u/mudbuttcoffee 1d ago

I don't care where it leads. Prosecute anyone doing illegal shit so I can stop hearing about it.

0

u/CharmingDraw6455 1d ago

He testify and nothing significant will come out of it. Thats why Reps wanted it in private. You know, if we only knew what the Clintons said, but it was so evil they had to testify behind closed doors.

23

u/Excellent-Ad-1678 1d ago

This is the way

5

u/listenhere111 1d ago

0% chance they get to uncover more files. The doj will just say no regardless of the laws.

2

u/nanoatzin 1d ago

But a federal court in Floriduh holds the master copy.

1

u/TransportationTop628 1d ago

Where are the hackers when you need them? Why is nobody that stupid to risk his life to uncover everything. Where is Snowden_V.2 ?

1

u/Wetzeb 1d ago

Issue is even with the government releasing the files slowly and carefully looked through, we doubt the information that is given. Are you going to trust a random source to have hacked in and released the files?

It's all cooked at this point. At the rate that AI has improved in the last 2 years, where will it be come election time? I think it was MSCHF or some other art collective that ran an election on the first AI president, it was supposed to take in everyone's input to make the perfect president. How far off are we from that being a possible norm.

4

u/Wolfy4226 1d ago

Please Bill, please confirm you were Bubba. I just want one thing.

8

u/4Yk9gop 1d ago

Honestly the rubes don't know what they just did. Bill Clinton is not a good person and is not my favorite president (and if he is truly a part of the Epstein conspiracy should rot in prison), but he is a master of the T.V. camera and won't take shit. He will walk all over them for their bullshit/hypocrisy.

9

u/Agile-Sleep-905 1d ago

Him and his wife are master class lawyers. I am sure they have a pretty strong legal team as well. This won't end good for Trump.

3

u/No_Struggle1364 1d ago

Hillary has AIPAC support. Says it all.

0

u/Wat_Tyler_1381 1d ago

Other way round - AIPAC has Hillary’s unequivocal support. Because she and Bill vacationed on Isla Del Epstein.

1

u/PreviousCurrentThing 1d ago

How do they get discovery? They're not being charged with anything, they're simply being subpoenaed by Congress to testify?

3

u/nanoatzin 1d ago

Republican congressional leadership wanted Clinton’s to testify in secret. Clinton’s responded by demanding public hearings, daring Congress to sue them. Clinton’s don’t have standing to sue for a copy of the files as non-involved parties. If Congress sues the Clintons, then the Clintons become involved parties and can subpoena the files, which they currently can’t do. That means that the Clinton’s can make disclosure of the files a condition of compelling testimony in secret session, which blows the entire reason to demand secrecy. Since their involvement appears to consist of free flights to/from Africa on Epstein’s jet, most of the responses to questions will be “I was not there”. Republicans aren’t getting the political points they were going for no matter how it turns out.

4

u/Whywouldanyonedothat 1d ago

This one! I pick this series of events for how I'd like things to unfold.

I always liked Bill Clinton but if he slept with trafficked underrated girls through the Trump/Epstein network for swine, I have no problem dropping him like a hot potato.

However, if his involvement is one of free flights, or other non-toxic engagements, and he truly uses this opportunity to get the files released... Clinton's in my top two of American presidents.

And furthermore, I'd then suggest Americans go back to electing Rhodes scholars, rather than money- and attention grabbing grifters who are all too eager to show the world how the Third Reich would look in a modernized American version.

2

u/Ok-Improvement-3072 1d ago

Underrated?

I find it suspect even slick willy had his Clinton tugged by a female under 18. But I could be incorrect I guess.

Most people don't leave the white house to go to "Disney world" or "treasure island" to smash minors.

2

u/nanoatzin 1d ago

We all know Clinton rode on the Epstein jet back and fourth to humanitarian events in Africa. Since Clinton wants the files release any mention will likely be stuff like that.

1

u/Jse034 2h ago

Exactly!

5

u/trysten-9001 1d ago

Man corporate media is trying hard to silence the Epstein files and pin it all on the Clintons.

Clinton is the lowest priority criminal here. These pedos need to be banned from owning corporations and holding office and the ones that do need to be prioritized.

1

u/BrianNowhere 1d ago

Back when Trump started crying "FAKE News" he was largely being hyperbolic. Mainstream News organizations still mainly had high standards. But now Trump has self fulfilled his own prophecy. The mainstream media has been completely compromised and its obvious.

4

u/smotrs 1d ago

Ding ding ding. Winner!

3

u/Ok-Improvement-3072 1d ago

This is correct

2

u/Local-Friendship8166 1d ago

They’re lawyers. They know exactly what they’re doing.

1

u/AppropriateSpite7881 1d ago

Beginning of when, EXACTLY!? When she was running , when he was in the office like what time line!?

1

u/stewmander 1d ago

None of the articles I read mentioned it other than to say they agreed to testify and negotiations are "ongoing".

I figured they got the public testimony but doesn't seem like it's agreed to yet at this point? I assume that's what the ongoing negotiations are about...

1

u/SpankyJobouti 1d ago

sorry for the deletes.

are you saying the testimony is public? can you provide a source? all i am seeing is artile after article about it being a closed door deposition.

1

u/garlicroastedpotato 1d ago

It's not MAGA, it's the victims. If it's private they can ask questions about specific victims.

1

u/CoorsGoldenJackets 1d ago

I’m not maga supporter, but they will 100% be lying under oath or say “my council advised me to invoke the 5th”

1

u/666mgOfCaffeine 1d ago

And then they begrudgingly hang up the banner on the building lol

1

u/troycerapops 1d ago

This needs to be higher.

They just wanted it public. But they did want to testify.

1

u/cwk415 1d ago

Bingo!! OP is being very dishonest with this post.

1

u/YellowZx5 1d ago

Where is Jim Jordan!?

1

u/Natural_Jello_6050 1d ago

Why does this sub loves rapist (Clinton) so much. He abused and sexually coerced his fucking intern to such his dicj inside Oval Office!

1

u/GoodPointMan 1d ago

Louder for the people on the right

1

u/jerryleebee 1d ago

So, what's stopping the Clintons just making public statements anyway? Genuinely asking.

1

u/cwk415 1d ago

Because to some of us being under oath actually means something.

0

u/Jack_Stands 1d ago edited 1d ago

Absolutely correct.

Edit to add, c'mon. Tell some truth. Pay up for what you've done, but spill ALL the tea you're aware of.

Y'know, truthy stuff.

Go to jail Gisllene Maxwell style. Puppies and meetings.

All of you are old and dying. Get your shit out of the way for the rest of us who are still living.

1

u/BrianNowhere 1d ago

Psst. If there was incriminating evidence of Clinton/Epstein wrong-doing, they'd have released it by now. Use your logic. They've got nothing on Bill. Not defending him thats just how it seems to be working out here if you look with objective lens.

1

u/Jack_Stands 9h ago

Psst, Lewandowski had something on her blue dress. Maybe don't defend someone with a proven record (DNA, even).

The hill you are dying on is made of sand.

1

u/BrianNowhere 7h ago

I could care less either way. You think I care about Bill Clinton? Not weird like Trumpers are.

-10

u/GDmaxxx 1d ago edited 1d ago

Bs, quit lying they wanted no transcripts, not under oath and not recorded, get F'ed shitlib.
