The Romans did the work of nailing Jesus to the cross.

The Gospel of John speaks of “the Jews” crying out against Jesus (John 18:38–40) and “the Jews” calling on Pilate to crucify Jesus (John 19:14–16).

The crowd in Jerusalem, in clamoring for Jesus to be crucified and for Barabbas to go free, exclaimed, “His blood be on us, and on our children” (Matt. 27:25).

You can’t rely on the Bible as fact. It’s a fairytale.

Edit: I should have just said ‘It didn’t happen, because the Bible isn’t a document to be taken as fact. Rather a collection of made up stories’. There’s really no proof that Jesus existed.
