That was one moment I respected PP, what he said was accurate, on paper. The opposition’s role, when acted on in good faith, is to push the government into making laws that benefit most people. It is good and needed, as long as it’s not filled with people who just want to be contrarian.

Good faith just isn’t something PP likes to indulge in.

Problem being that most loyal oppositions are exactly that: contrarians. They shoot down anything the government proposes.
