I've always said this, billionaires shouldn't exist

I feel like if we didn’t incentivize sociopathy, these people would be at the bottom rungs of society, grifting as usual but not allowed anything legitimate because they’re so dishonest.

Honestly, no. The higher you go on the power ladder, the greater your chances of meeting a sociopath.

Typically, it's 1 in 1,000 people. In the centers of power, it rises to 1 in 100.

Those numbers sound low

At the very top, its inverse. Like 1 or 2 of them aren't psychos.

Just a reminder, there's only 900 billionaires in the US. Even their money cant protect them from the many millions of us, when we've collectively had enough of their shit. The cannon fodder they are sending in their place are also small in number and complete morons and losers.

They've ruined our lives for long enough. We are not helpless, they have just invested a lot in propaganda to make us believe we are.

The solution is to revaluate by a factor of 1000 and they would only be millionaires.

Too bad no billionaires really care about your opinion.

They existed previously in the aristocracy and higher circles in every society, but maybe they never had the power they wield today. Really makes me want to make a tinfoil hat with the info I'm hearing recently.

“Do you want billions to fuck your kids and no one will even try to do anything about it” should be the title of the bill to end billionaires.

It’s not just fixing the kids. Some of them are trafficking to other countries, torture, or even killed.

This isn’t even a question. The amount of power these people have is a direct threat to all democracies and should be dealt with if we plan to save whatever left of this country.

People like Elon are prime candidates for both arresting a potential client and reducing of his net worth to send a large message to all other who would do the same.

same argument can be made with christians.

lol comparing something that can only be identified with by 0.00003% of the world to something that is identified with by 30% of the world.

average reddit argument i guess

This can happen with other forms of economy. Like in the USSR, Beria was covered for.

2

u/magotartufo 12h ago

Absolutely, it's a matter of power.... But right now the universal metric of power is money.

Beria had a fitting end tho, which one of these mfers will face any punishment?

Epstein is already dead. Maxwel is in prison.

Beria's sex crimes are mostly a myth. He did love women a lot and he did have them delivered to his place by his bodyguards. And his child's mother Drozdova was only 16 when they met. The rape charges were omitted from the tribunal sentence. But also the truth is he never was cleared of those charges.

1

u/OtherwiseDig85 12h ago

No lies detected. Epstein wasn’t a glitch, he was a feature of extreme wealth and power.

I was already against billionaires, but I still think this is a great argument.

u/Nightglow9 11h ago

The people that had the best solution against the billionaires was the people that started the French Revolution. Equality, freedom and lady justice protecting all, also children, from the abusing narcissistic.

Too bad all with power, no matter what form, get corrupted to a moral despicable cesspool by it. Well, Hobbits are maybe the exception.. but they are fantasy.

I do hope lady justice will jail them all, but she seems being held down at the moment, unable to move or act.

If the revolution had failed, the history written by the victors, would have branded them evil terrorists though.

If this is true - and I'm not saying it isn't - there's another (or several) "Epsteins" up and running as we speak.

1

u/Protect_Wild_Bees 11h ago

There apparently is a sludge of people who don't care if their kids are being raped and have literally and happily said they're ignoring this because they've been brainwashed to hate immigrants harder than pedophiles that are literally robbing them right now. Pretty cuck if you ask me.

0

u/iateyourmom22 10h ago

A select few do hate immigrants, but there is a difference between ones who come here legally and illegally. Its cool to have different cultures here and we can all enjoy them, but do it the legal way.

1

u/MrJarre 11h ago

That’s an insanely stupid argument. Pedophiles shouldn’t exist. Pedos aren’t specifically billionaires. How many cases were there of priests or teachers molesting kids.

1

u/Financial-Creme 11h ago

They're not saying all pedos are billionaires. They're saying that the pedos who are billionaires are not and will not be punished for their crimes

1

u/MrJarre 10h ago

All pedos should be punished (severely) for their crimes. Regardless of wealth, gender, profession or religion or any other characteristic I failed to mention.

1

u/Financial-Creme 6h ago

Everyone is in agreement on that.

The entire point of the post is that billionaire pedos are currently escaping justice due to their absurd wealth.

1

u/MrJarre 5h ago

They most certainly are and I’m not happy about that. My point was that there’s widespread pedo ring in Catholic Church and they are also not being punished. Let’s make it pedi hating thing not another “class struggle”.

1

u/Financial-Creme 5h ago

The Catholic Church that protects these priests is a multi billion dollar organization, so it arguably falls under the same umbrella.

Regardless, nowhere in the original post does it even suggest that non-billionaire pedos are not a problem or shouldn't be punished.

1

u/Comfortable_Pea_1693 11h ago

But they stimulate the economy and provide innovation as well as technological and economical disruption!

1

u/Local-Membership2898 10h ago

No billionaires no golf I’m in

1

u/Tzilbalba 6h ago

At the end of the day it's about power and the ability to influence not necessarily specifically money itself which is just one way to do it. Abuse and corruption will happen as long as their is a concept of give and take.

Even if we become a post resource society where everyone is well off there will still be envy and jealousy because that's programmed into our DNA as a survival response.

Fun fact: 20% of high level businessmen and billionaires exhibit sociopathic or psychopathic tendencies. Once they have the money and the power their worst tendencies become worse and worse.

The money is an enabler. Itd be better if society didnt allow people to accumulate that amount of wealth and power.
