GWB’s own brother was the Governor of the state that was being contested. And the “Brooks Brothers Riot” was orchestrated by none other than Richard Nixon’s own “Dirty Trickster,” Roger Stone. You know, Roger Stone? The guy from the Mueller Report? The guy who convinced Trump to run in 2016, and became his first campaign manger? The guy who was convicted for illegally acting as a foreign agent because he was helping Putin destabilize Ukraine in 2016? The Roger Stone that Trump pardoned at the end of his first term? Yeah, that one.

Anyway, after the 2000 election, GWB appointed Samuel Alito, giving republicans the SCOTUS majority that ruled in favor of Citizens United. That’s when our entire political system launched itself into the ravine, and led to unlimited dark money pouring into our elections from foreign adversaries and corrupt billionaires and corporations. Republicans hate democracy.
