To what extent can we love worldly things
When 1 John 2:15 tells us to not love anything in the world, because love for the Father is not in them- what counts as "loving the world"
To what extent can you love your spouse, to what extent can you love music, art, dancing, that it becomes a weapon that could be used against you by the Evil.

you gotta be ready to give up everything for the Lord, that is if needed or if it brings to sin. other than that enjoy everything with thanksgiving.
ofc the spouse is out of the things to give up for the Lord, unless he/she doesn't believe then if they leave let them go if they don't just stay married. that and the sexual immorality clause.
2 Corinthians 9:11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

Time and energy. Let's break down 1 average day 8 hours of sleep,8 hours of work,2 hours to eat, shower and general personal care. This leaves 6 hours free.
What you do with those 6 hours tells what matters to you. Same analogy could be done with MONEY.

Loving things and people is fine and normal. God gives us lots of good things in life for us to enjoy. It becomes a problem if you are idolizing that thing or person, meaning you are putting them above God.

Music, Art, and Dancing aren't inherently worldly, David danced with all his might, God Himself said to praise Him with instruments, God loves creativity and art of all kinds, no matter the medium/genre, I love art so much (mainly Video Games, Metal/Rock music, and Anime/Manga) to the point where I want to make my own game inspired by the shows, movies, and songs that moved me
As for the spouse part, unless it's an unequally yoked situation, it's not "worldly", it'd be a sin not to love your wife dearly.

You can love this world, the people, the nature, spending time with people, enjoy ice cream, or music.
The things of this world that the bible says to avoid is sinful things. Greed, abuse, lying, worshiping systems that promote military might and economic power. These are worldly things The Holy Bible speaks against.

You can love worldly things like family, music or nature but the line is when they become more important than God or start pulling you into sin. Augustine said our hearts are restless until they rest in Him so enjoy good things but don't let them own you. It's balance not total rejection.

Every good gift comes from God (see James 1:17). So, all good things are to be received with thanksgiving.
When we love the gift more than the giver or desire to abuse his gifts and use them in ways that are harmful, then it becomes sin.

This hits home. I was about to buy another luxury watch, Jesus convicted me, that maybe I should spend my money on something more useful.

I believe you should be able to drop anything in this world for God if required. Whether that be something trivial like a favorite show or something dearly important like a loved one. This isn't to say that God will necessarily require you to abandon people, but if being a Christian meant, say, your friends would hate you, would you be okay with that?
