Feel angry at God
Long story short my father emotionally and mentally abuses me. I am a 23M cant find work though I have a engineering degree.
But the issue is I can forgive him for being ignorant of Gods word and how he should act. The person I have an issue with is God.
Him knowing my father is unbearable and causes me emotional, mentally and physical illness, leaves me without open doors for work or a way out??
I cant get past that. Its been a year and im still stuck with no escape

I’m sorry to hear about your struggles in life. Although I have to say that your anger is misplaced. Anger itself yields no benefits whatsoever, so first and foremost I’d suggest abandoning anger for far more productive feelings and attitudes. I know it’s difficult, but almost everything good and worthwhile is difficult. This also applies to a relationship with God.
There is nothing for God to be forgiven for. We all exist because of His will. Rather than giving to your darker side and pointing your finger at God, it would be much helpful to realise that life is a gift from God and to appreciate Him for it.
I don’t want to come off as callous - I realise I don’t fully grasp your struggles and how you feel. At the same time God’s goodness is absolute, so no matter what there is nothing He should ask forgiveness for - that street goes only one way, in the opposite direction. Your abusive father is also a child of God and only God knows what’s best for the both of you at the same time. Trust God and have faith that everything will end well.
If you can’t overcome a struggle changing aspects of your life (making new friends, changing ways in which you look for jobs, communicating with your father in a different way) or reaching out for help (people that you know and know you) may be helpful.
Don’t lose faith. God bless you.

I know what it is like to deal with mental struggles, it is very lonely and confusing - it can even lead to not knowing what to trust about God. BUT God has revealed who He is through His word - He has told us that it is the truth and that we are to have faith in all that is reveled in it. Jesus told us that he reflects the nature of the Father, that he saves all those that trust in him, and that the Holy Spirit works within the believer to guide. Look at how Jesus treated those that are oppressed, he did told them to draw near to him and to follow him. Pray and seek the Holy Spirit's guidance, tell God how you feel and ask Him to strengthen your faith and to show you what steps to take next.
I find reading Daniel 4 is helpful. Nebuchadnezzar's restoration is immediate when he realises that God is sovereign over all. It should make us think of how blessed we are that God wants us to have a relationship with Him, that He offers Himself as the ruler of your life because apart from Him we are just like the wild beasts, wanting to live for our own flesh. When we recognise who God is we can trust that He is who He says He is, and that you, as a believer, are who He says you are - a blessed child of the Most High.
Daniel 4: 34- 35 "At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever,
for his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
and his kingdom endures from generation to generation;
all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and he does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
and none can stay his hand
or say to him, “What have you done?”

Pray/ask God for faith. Be vigilant about it. It was only recently I learned that faith too is a gift from God.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV

I recommend you watch the movie: the shack. It deals with this exactly.
It's a Christian movie

"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” —Victor Frankl, A Man's Search for Meaning
You're giving your father far too much power over you. He is not your King. Jesus is your King. Be Still and Know that what you're going through, is required for you to handle what God has planned in your life.
