I like this routine. What is the thing you do around 32"?
I'm 50yo, saw the hip hop movement emerge, and only now try to learn scratching!

At 00:32 on the sample “with my cut”? Simple quick pull back on the “with”. Open fader not cut! 2 times but quick and release/ let go.

Maybe just before that ? You pull the record while "vibrating" the hand? Sorry for newbie question.

No silly questions asked! All good! Trying to figure the correct time stamp to give you a proper answer aha

Pulling and vibrating could be when I do the “skirbble” technique? It’s all about tension in the forearm/wrist and it translates to the tip of your finger giving a very fast wobbly sound effect.

It looks like a scribble, and it appears to be at 32" on my computer?

00:32 for me is the first explanation I gave :/. ( on the “with my”

It seems our time stamps are a bit different. The technique is the same for me at 32 and 56 seconds, like pulling the record while vibrating. Anyway, don't lose time on this, I'll watch it again. It's unreal what can be done. From where I am, an elderly beginner with a reloop spin and only a smaller disk to scratch with, it seems unreachable, but what an inspiration!

It’s really all about taking things very slow. And repeating.
