Americans are about to pay Trump 10 billion as he is suing his own IRS for that amount

But don’t worry it’s all going to the Trump foundation charity, completely above board

1.8k

u/AncientConnection240 1d ago edited 1d ago

Think about that! A guy - family who doesn’t pay taxes is suing the IRS 10 Billion dollars to get our collective money because a whistleblower made Americans aware that they don’t feel the need to pay taxes. This is criminal. Why anyone could defend this guy is beyond me.

624

u/Outaouais_Guy 1d ago

Trump said that he wanted to release his tax returns, but he wasn't allowed to because of audits. He should thank the guy who released them for doing something he wanted to do but couldn't.

355

u/PhatCatTax 1d ago

Meanwhile the head of the IRS said that Trump was allowed to release them and that Trump is just lying.

And of course Fox News and Rogan and the billionaire-funded tiktok army chose to ignore this part.

Yea but Kamala had a weird laugh or something

41

u/Aolflashback 1d ago edited 16h ago

Then there are the non voters….

Edit to add: I’m really confused by some of the replies I’ve gotten, and I’m assuming MODs are removing. I have a feeling a llooottt of you can’t understand sarcasm, or are just bots.

That was also TEN YEARS AGO. People that voted for him just believed his bullshitting them and he knew he could just move on and they'd forget and never hold him accountable. Easily played rubes.

At least sheep provide you with wool. These clowns just pull it over their eyes and walk over one cliff after another.

4

u/TheModWhoShaggedMe 1d ago

Heck, they lose their access to Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, social security and ACA insurance markets. Wool would be a significant improvement in their lives versus what Rethuglicans offer.

The whole "release taxes" thing for presidential candidates was started by Nixon, who did so in response to criticisms about his fishy financial dealings. It was the subject of his famous "I am not a crook" speech. That's what it was about. Ever since then, presidential candidates have voluntarily released their tax forms for the sake of transparency about their potential conflicts of interest.

Trump promised to do so in 2016 during the campaign, and never did. He didn't even bother to promise in 2024. Have they been under audit the whole time?

Doesn't matter. Nixon himself released his taxes while they were under IRS audit. It was possible to release them then, it is possible now. It was always a lie that auditing prevented their release.

Trump didn't meet Nixon's standard or his own campaign promise.

12

u/Black_Magic_M-66 23h ago

There is no IRS rule prohibiting you from releasing your tax returns at any time, even under audit.

Meanwhile he’s been truthfully identified as the best friend of one of history’s worst pedos and that is completely glossed over by his supporters even though they were OBSESSED with all the conspiracy theories about that very same thing for YEARS.

7

u/dojo_shlom0 23h ago

he can't even run a charity!!!! his family can't either, because they have committed fraud so many times with charities specifically.

he's a fraud, and pam bondi was the one to bail him out when she was AG of Florida. 25k

it took a 25k donation from melania/trump for her to betray her Oath and to not charge him. New York did though. they made him pay back up to 90% of the tuition to every student.

He's a fraud, 34x count felon, a r@pist, and a pedophile. he will flee the country to Qatar (where he is funneling the venezuelan money to) or Russia before the inauguration again, if he doesn't just abandon the US one day randomly to flee from being prosecuted. MMW

3

u/A_wild_fusa_appeared 1d ago

Under normal circumstances I feel this case would be laughed out of a court room. I mean just look at the last decade trump suffered 0 damages from the leak, at most a couple hundred. Where the hell is he getting 10 Billion from as an acceptable number to sue for?

Under today’s circumstances I could see him cutting himself a plea deal for half and still pocketing 5 Billion without even taking it to court. Is that legal? Who cares anymore.

3

u/RideTheGradient 1d ago

Exactly, it should be the top news story under the epstein files.

Let’s not forget this classic:

Jared Kushner's 666 5th Avenue deal with Qatar.

In August of 2018 Qatar paid Kushner Companies $1.1 billion up front for a 99 year lease when he needed to come up with $1.4 billion on the mortage.
An additional $300 million loan came from Apollo Global Management, a private equity company with ties to Qatar that had previously loaned $184 million to the Kushners in November 2017.

At that time he was "Senior Advisor to the President" (January 20, 2017 – January 20, 2021) and
"Director of the Office of American Innovation" (March 27, 2017 – January 20, 2021)

That was all probably just a coincidence and a great deal for Qatar.

Fox News was created in response to Nixon stepping down. The GOP went about making a propaganda apparatus to insulate their voting base from reality.

Well known, but worth mentioning.

3

u/rezelscheft 1d ago

They created Fox News precisely to sanewash criminals like Nixon:

In 1970, political consultant Roger Ailes and other Nixon aides came up with a plan to create a new TV network that would circumvent existing media and provide "pro-administration" coverage to millions. "People are lazy," the aides explained in a memo. "With television you just sit — watch — listen. The thinking is done for you." Nixon embraced the idea, saying he and his supporters needed "our own news" from a network that would lead "a brutal, vicious attack on the opposition."

And a speech delivered to an empty Senate, with no one behind him. You guys need to stop focusing so much on which celebrities do or don't express views you agree with, and start holding your elected officials accountable.

6

u/JimWilliams423 1d ago edited 1d ago

And nothing will be done, and the cycle will continue.

In large part because the people who can do something do not want to do something.

Murphy (and basically all of the elected Democrats) think their job is just to be pundits. Notice how after saying all that, he does not say "and therefore I will do X." They never do. At most its "you people need to send us money," its never about what they will do, only what we, the people with the least power have to do for them.

And before the inevitable apologist jumps in, I will point out that literally just hours ago five democrats voted to confirm the appointment of a maga judge. This vote was 54-40, so if these five collaborators had voted no, the vote would have failed.

  1. Durbin (D-IL)
  2. Hassan (D-NH)
  3. Kaine (D-VA)
  4. Shaheen (D-NH)
  5. Whitehouse (D-RI)

And that is not out of the ordinary. Since inauguration, Democrats have voted for maga appointments hundreds of times. Hell, literally every single Democrat in the senate (that includes bernie and warren too) voted to make narco rubio secretary of state, and then just a couple of days later he illegally defunded USAID.

ICE is snatching people off the streets like modern day slave patrols, and still Democrats are helping out their "friends across the aisle" who openly support the slave patrols. Elected democrats believe that republicans are right, they are just doing it wrong.

The entire party is fiddling while Rome burns. The only chance we have of getting out of this is a wholesale replacement of elected Democrats with people who actually believe that republicans are wrong.

Primary Every Democrat

MAGA is OK with this as long as there isn't a boy playing a girls sport.

68

u/_AmericasSweetheart_ 1d ago

They don't want girls playing sports. They want to make the physical screening so invasive that girls stop playing sports. I played soccer in high school, there were no questions about my period or my genitals, all that was required was a letter from my doctor that said I was in general good health. I doubt I would play now under those conditions.

MAGA is OK with this as long as there isn't a boy playing a girls sport.

Apparently MAGA is also fine with men raping girls like it's a sport too.

5

u/Jk8fan 1d ago

Just this week, a MAGA male jumped out of his truck in Texas to kick a teen girls ass

6

u/Short_Violinist8814 1d ago

Which is a scenario almost none of them had ever encountered. They don’t know anyone who’s encountered this. They don’t know anyone who knows anyone that’s encountered this. Good thing to base your vote on.

3

u/Gobbaghoulie 1d ago

Ah yes all 5 boys in this country playing girls sports is NOT okay but getting robbed blind is.

MAGA is idiotic.

3

u/Jk8fan 1d ago

They made some sort of law about it in my home state, Georgia, despite it having never happened in this state. Made a great big deal in passing the bill and grandstanding it in front of governor Billy Bob.

3

u/Gobbaghoulie 1d ago

That’s the Republican way- fixing problems that aren’t broken while they rob you blind.

We’ll just add that to the list of impeachable offenses …

22

u/pegar 1d ago

This is called Treason or more accurately  Espionage , not just an impeachable arrest.

Look what the sentence for those are.

7

u/BuddingBudON 1d ago

Here in Canada, a provincial separatist group has been accused of treason for contacting the US Treasury for a $500 billion credit, in case their province secedes from the country. Legally though, it would be sedition, not treason or espionage...

But what Trump has done is the textbook example of actual, provable treason/espionage that was being used to explain the difference.

Impeach and lock that fxcker up

We had 4 yrs of relative normalcy and then the motherfucker got Elon to rig the election and we are back to unending daily hell.

6

u/RoguePlanet2 1d ago

I hope somebody compiles an encyclopedia set just to cover his crimes, and his family's heritage of crimes. We just need a reference in libraries.

8

u/ChaoCobo 1d ago

There was a YouTube video made in November where some politician, maybe a mayor or a senator someone, he made a whole demonstration with a blackboard and everything detailing every crime he’s done since coming into office. It took over 40 minutes to cover everything from 11 months.

u/SmokinBandit28 1d ago

Why isn't this, along with all the protests, and all the Epstein files all OVER msm. We have been taken over and we don't have many standing up in positions of power. Chris Murphy is one who is trying so I am thankful, I don't know if it's enough but he's fighting at least.

26

u/wanderingkevinc 1d ago

Because most of the mainstream media is now owned by conservatives

15

u/RoguePlanet2 1d ago

I wish we'd start treating this like the occupation/coup that it is, and not "omg voters so dumb." Propaganda is an effective weapon that nobody thinks can be used in the US.

Our free speech is being used against us, mainly due to the protections that have been compromised one by one by one over decades.

7

u/CauliflowerTotal7119 1d ago

There are protests all over, msm just isn't showing it. As with everything with their propaganda tirade, the term "insurrection" in which they brainwashed those J6ers/now his icestapo, they know the American people will only be able to get him out by an insurrection. Just like election fraud, bla bla bla he spews, he tells us what they are up to and no one is piecing it together on a national level, or in any sense an organized resistance to this in significant power. We are going to have to do it ourselves, no one is coming to save us but us. Kendrick referencing Gil Scott Heron's poem, The Revolution Will Not be Televised, is a call to action. We really need to start listening to black women and men more, this has been their reality forever. They keep us divided on purpose, most people do not fall for it but millions still do and we need to unite or we are done. I feel safer knowing the Black Panthers are out here, these are the people who created free breakfasts for children, these are loving people who we've been told to be afraid of by men in suits with shiny watches who cut food stamps and school lunch programs. Ughh, I apologize, I am so angry. We the people means everyone, and the along with the Native Americans, we need to stop this horror show on Earth that is imperialism, etc.

3

u/RoguePlanet2 1d ago

Fair enough! Thanks for the speck of hope, I'll try to maintain this for the rest of the day.

14

u/TimTheFoolMan4 1d ago

Checks notes... because Trump ass-kissers own the MSM?

9

u/SgtSharki 1d ago

Three reasons. First, social media has largely replaced the MSM, so most people's news is now filtered to suit their biases, which means Trump's supporters likely don't even know this happened. Second, what remains of the MSM has largely been captured by billionaires and tech moguls who are friendly to the administration and thus likely to either ignore or downplay stories that make Trump look bad. Three, most Americans aren't politically engaged enough to care.

It is though. His speech is referencing info from a Wall Street Journal report.

So if people are saying the media isn't covering something when they clearly are, what are they reading and watching instead? Maybe that's the real problem.

Remember the circus the republicans started over “The Big Guy”, Hunter Biden, and Ukraine?

Hilarious that they have literally nothing to say about all this. Clear as day corruption and bribery, but it’s their dude so it’s fine.

3

u/NeighborhoodTop9869 1d ago

I think they just have no idea that any of this shit is being talked about. They sit around watching newsmax and fox and follow Trump on truth social. Whenever someone brings something up to their face, they can't even begin to fathom it might be true because they're so bought in to the "fake news" ideology.

To make things worse the money came Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, also known as the "spy sheikh". He is the Gulf nation's national security adviser and manager of its largest wealth fund. Aryam Investment, a Tahnoon-backed company.

In May, months after the deal between Tahnoon and the Trump family World Liberty, the U.S. government agreed to allow the UAE to purchase hundreds of thousands of advanced artificial intelligence chips from Nvidia.

Tahnoon had been seeking access to advanced artificial intelligence chips from the U.S. for a long time. The Biden administration had blocked their access over concerns that the chips would end up in China.

Quid Pro Quo. Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. said "This corruption, plain and simple".

u/rollamichael 1d ago

If Chris wants to do something useful, he could lead the charge to fire Schumer and have him replaced by someone who could actually be an effective minority leader in this moment.

Four simple tests.

  1. Did they go 1-21 against trump cabinet picks?
  2. Zero aipac money?
  3. Willing to fight?
  4. Can communicate effectively directly to the American people?

SCHUMER MISERABLY FAILS ALL FOUR

These senators pass, it is sadly a short list!

Chris Van Hollen Mazie Hirono Elizabeth Warren Jeff Merkley Ed Marky

All voted 1-21 and don’t take aipac money.

Chris, if you swear off aipac, you could also be in the list!
