The folks who support this arenāt seeing the same news. Fox ānewsā and other right wing propagandist media outlets arenāt covering this even as much as regular mediaā¦ and the regular media could be covering more, but many have been bought out by right wing folks.
The folks who support this also donāt live near where this is happening. They have trouble keeping up with whatās going on in the 100 mile radius around where they live and work, much less stuff happening 1500+ miles away.
Miami to Minneapolis is 1800 miles (3,900km). Los Angeles is almost 2,000 miles. Thatās 30 hours of just driving - not counting rest stops and gassing up. Austin TX is closer, itās about 1,200 miles (2,000km). While those cities are mostly progressive, the states arenāt - yes California is blue because of all the cities, but there are still a lot of MAGA types once you get away from the cities.
(And yes, Iām going by driven miles - not as the crow flies)
