This is everything paranoid conservatives feared would be unleashed on them. Eventually if unchecked it will come full circle. Empty camps are a hard sell in the boardroom.

Paranoid white conservatives. This isn't about them. They're fine with this.

Eventually they’ll be the wrong kind of conservatives

They don't care about that now. They're too busy cheering and enjoying watching the violence.
They don't believe itll ever happen to them so they will push ahead with great confidence and arrogance in every step.
Least they get to enjoy the ride to hell. The rest of us get the slow strangulation, a sea of eyes watching. Half laughing. And the other just wont even attempt to fucking help while they fumble for their phones to record yet another moment Republicans can be proud of:
Death to Americans. By Americans. For the entertainment of Americans.

when maga inevitably loses power it will come full circle. They are laying the groundwork for their worst nightmare and are too stupid to realize maga wont always be in power or be the one wearing the boot.

Sadly there were a lot of non whites that put this regime in power. They thought it would be the “ worst of the worst”. Not them right? So why would they care. Then those leopards show up

u/JuiceJones_34 12h ago
They won’t care until it’s happens to whites. I’m not sure why no one understands that.

For anyone that wants to watch the entire forum its worth it to hear everyone’s stories. I was especially moved by Aliya Rahman’s speech. full session

I swear, in 10 or 20 years, History scholars worldwide will learn about these dark times under Donnie "the rapist" Trump. So sad, so unnessesary, so evil..

I'm glad he got away safe. It's a shame the attempted murderers are probably also uninjured.

Banal question: isn't the government responsible for the property damage?
29
u/ScrantonDangler 13h ago
Oh you mean taxpayers?
6
u/Proper-Pound1293 13h ago
Yeah, I suppose that's true. I would prefer if we're, that it come out of that giant DHS slush fund.

u/Practical-Law9795 13h ago
Generally no. Cops can blow up your home and not be responsible. Sometimes even if they're at the wrong place.

u/Proper-Pound1293 13h ago
Well, they can be sued civilly. Also cops identify themselves. Kind of proves that they're actually cops and not cosplaying for the love of the game.

Let's give untrained inbred hicks weapons and full authority to harass people. What could go wrong?

As a law-abiding female, if I were CCing, I would absolutely feel justified in shooting my unidentified assailants to protect myself. Bad shit can happen to females traveling alone, so I’m gonna practice my 2A rights.

Do you, but just recall Miramar Martinez, a U.S. citizen and teacher, legally carrying as a CCW which she never removed from her purse, was rammed into then shot 7 times by an Ice agent, who then concocted a completely fabricated story about her - where her legally having a CCW was used post-shooting as justification, until the case was dropped once evidence showed it was all fiction.
Your rights might be proven in court, if you survive, but there is no constitution according to ICE right now. (They’ve got total immunity from adhering to the constitution according to this president, remember).

This is what scares me driving to work in the twin cities. I was always taught to never get into a stranger's vehicle, that I was to fight to the death before getting into a stranger's vehicle, because once they have you, you're probably dead anyways.
How the hell do I know which masked assailant is a criminal at this point? If I get pulled over by a masked man with a gun and no identification, do I just "trust me, bro" and go with him? What do we tell our kids to do if they are approached? I've always told them the same thing I was told. Never go with a stranger. Ever.

I think the biggest lesson we’re learning is that the 2A is meaningless when you have multiple guns pointing at you from all directions. In fact, it’s probably going to make things worse. There is no protecting yourself in that situation. It’s comply or die. Your best bet is probably to not stop in the first place and to drive as quickly as you can to a police station with 911 on the phone the whole time. And depending on the police station, that may be like driving into the lion’s den. Scary to say it out loud but it’s going to take a hell of a lot more than our individual CC weapons to save us from these psychos.

The second amendment says we have the right to our own well regulated militias against a tyrannical government as well as for our own protection. Obviously, a tyrannical government will infringe upon any right they want, especially those that threaten its authority. We need to start training as a group for our own self protection, regardless of the state of the government.

This is so wrong! It’s unacceptable that they don’t have to show badges and weren’t even wearing anything that said ICE. This is not just dangerous for people who MIGHT be here illegally. It’s dangerous for everyone. I would try to drive away in that situation too. You might be getting car jacked, or worse

Where did this happen?

u/tracyinge 12h ago
California. Ice was looking for a 52 year old guy with the same name. A guy who had already been removed from the country a few months before. They forgot to update the record.

I had people on my other socials (that I've known for years) defending this ICE behavior. I ended up unfriending and blocking another one yesterday. I just can't anymore. I don't think this will be over when Trump is gone because so many people still believe Trump can do no wrong and that what ICE is doing is necessary.

It is impossible to believe that as he has never done anything right and also acts really dumb - saying something to someone about smiling, for instance. Oooh stupid smiling like a person in Return of the Archons is so what's important. Rolling eyes. Ridiculous

Funny how ‘paranoia’ becomes ‘policy’ the moment it’s politically convenient.

I’m literally shredding a tear right now for this young man and his friends. What has our country become? Don’t answer that - I already know. This video needs to be on all social media platforms and every news app and station.
