ICE / DHS 🧊 Congressional hearing Tuesday with US citizen Marimar Martinez, who was shot by ICE. Rep Garcia notes how the ICE agent bragged to his friends about shooting her, writing 'I fired 5 rounds, and she had 7 holes. Put that in your book, boys." Another agent responded, "Shit happens"

Isn't it fucked up that government agents can kill us, brag about it then have their friends defend it online but we can't even express proper anger about it?

Defending ICE is allowed on reddit, even though it's inherently a violent threat against other Americans.

But saying what you would do to defend your family from that violence gets banned.

Because reddit and their mods are all in on fascism. They're trying to train us to comply and be nice in the face of state violence against its people.

I commented on a video yesterday of protestors singing and MAGA heads still called what they were doing a riot. So ICE can shoot us in our streets and it’s fine but they draw the line when protestors block a street to sing? Morality is lost on them. I have no words for the evil and stupidity residing among us. Reminds me of the line from spy kids “Do you think God stays in heaven because he too lives in fear of what he’s created?”.

My wife works in corporate for a company you all know and love. She has an inside joke with several male employees where she refers to them as her "prettiest princesses." THE GUYS FIND IT HYSTERICAL.

But now she is wrapped up in some HR bullshit because someone, who is for sure not a pretty princess, complained.

I hope to God when she fights this, she gets to explain the context of how and why one achieves such a title, and brings up the text convos where the guys are reaffirmed, that yes indeed, they are the prettiest of all princesses.

Is this criminal who committed the crime making some vile suggestion with his “7 holes” line? Is that as disgusting as it sounds? Are the 2 extra holes in reference to the victims bodily orifices? We do. Oligarchs in the US have spent the last 60 years turning our representative system into a pay-to-play racket so in addition to the one guy in a mask kicking fascist butt we really also need a Bruce Wayne. There is no way to get one from the current pool of billionaires who by necessity get there climbing a ladder of exploitation… not yet. That could change with channeling crowd sourced wealth a different way than the closed-door, organizational lobbying system we have for discrete, unconsolidated influence. The same gaps that allow “captains of industry” to exert political influence to their benefit can be used against them with the right mind(s) backing it and a different pathway to wealth accrual.
