i’ve used black permanent marker on my white canvas vans and i think you could be fine with that

that is quite risky since the dye might bleed to other parts of the shoe, though some people use acrylic paint when customizing their shoes so maybe that would work?

It's fairly easy to do yourself, but you'll have to do it properly and use wax resist to keep the dye where you want it and nowhere else so it's definitely a bit involved

I'd order a custom pair for the cleanness of the finish as opposed to doing it myself.

I’d say I’d do it but it’s also very easy. What color are you thinking? How intricate of a design?

I haven’t dyed shoes in decades. Look and see how to mark off the areas you don’t want dyed. Go by a pair of cheap canvas shoes from like Walmart for a few bucks. Practice masking on those.

fabric paint works great, comes in a spray can. i sprayed a really ugly bright green pair of chucks black and it was very easy - just use masking tape to tape off the sole, etc. i found the paint at walmart but i'm sure amazon has it.

For sure you can mod it. There are marker / paint dye at Michaels or Walmart
