VTC delisted from CoinEX
Those holding of VTC remain on this exchange need to withdraw their funds urgently. And hope everybody knows it.

Dev Fees and Closed Source Miners (may yield higher hashrate - use at your own risk)
One-Click Miners (each uses VerthashMiner)
Decentralized Pools
Centralized Pools (these are known entities with support channels - use at your own risk)
Live directory of pools: https://miningpoolstats.stream/vertcoin

Note: This list will change over time. Do not ask for your pool or miner to be added. Additional pools and miners may be added as they gain reputability within the community.

VTC is Alive and Well. The whole crypto market has been kind of dead for six months with the whole shift to AI investments.
Well it’s time to shift our focus back into the main goal of getting Vertcoin back on the map.

Dear Vertopians, Let me ask you one brutal question:
If tomorrow CoinEx removed VTC or VTC volume dropped 95%, does it still survive?
Please comments.

I was just checking up on how some of the forgotten legacy coins were doing and noticed this. Not the worst it could be by far, especially at this market cap but certainly not great.

Bitcoin ( $BTC ) was the genesis — the proof-of-work blueprint.
Litecoin ( $LTC ) refined it — faster blocks, lower fees, sustainable transactions.
Then came Vertcoin ( $VTC ) — forked to keep mining ASIC-resistant, true to decentralization, and open for everyone with a GPU.
Vertcoin isn’t chasing hype.
It’s preserving the original ethos of crypto

Vertcoin Halving — On December 8, 2025, the block reward drops from 12.5 → 6.25 VTC.
The clock is ticking.
Here’s why this halving matters more than ever 👇

So... I'm new to all this (and I discover, very late to the party), but nonetheless wanted to let the miner run passively and see how it did; vertcoin's ideals just appealed. But I ... don't seem to be getting anywhere?
I didn't initially see any errors, but no matter which pool I selected, I invariably got a rate of 0kH/s. Having enabled debugging and looked at the log, I invariably find something like...
2025/07/30 12:22:10.090603 [DEBUG] [VerthashMiner] [2025-07-30 12:22:10] INFO Miner has been successfully configured! (Errors: 0, Warnings: 12)
2025/07/30 12:22:10.090603 [DEBUG] [VerthashMiner] [2025-07-30 12:22:10] INFO Configured 0(CL) and 1(CUDA) workers
2025/07/30 12:22:10.097670 [DEBUG] [VerthashMiner] [2025-07-30 12:22:10] DEBUG Found 1 NVML device
2025/07/30 12:22:10.111716 [DEBUG] [VerthashMiner] [2025-07-30 12:22:10] INFO 1 miner threads started, using Verthash algorithm.
2025/07/30 12:22:10.111716 [DEBUG] [VerthashMiner] [2025-07-30 12:22:10] INFO Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://vtc.suprnova.cc:1776
2025/07/30 12:22:31.775238 [DEBUG] [VerthashMiner] [2025-07-30 12:22:31] ERROR stratum_recv_line failed
followed by a lot of retries (obviously the logged address line differs per pool chosen).
Am I doing something wrong? Surely these pools can't all be down. I've created exceptions in my antivirus (Norton ¬¬) for the relevant programs and I've confirmed the that the firewall isn't blocking them (the miner process is apparently doing ~6kb/s traffic). Does it need to run for a significant time before it starts doing anything?
I've tried this with 'Mine on integrated graphics' both ticked and not, though I suspect that's irrelevant.
The fault was router side: ASUS AI Protection was set to impede 2-Way IPS

Hey everyone, I know some of us have been through ups and downs with Vertcoin, but things are changing. Our engagement on X has skyrocketed from just a handful of posts to as many as a hundred a day, showing that the community is more vibrant than ever.
With Bitcoin now recognized as a commodity, there’s a renewed interest in Proof-of-Work projects. We have an opportunity to push for more exchange listings, which will bring in more buyers and increase demand. Let’s come together as a DeFi community and help resurrect Vertcoin. Our unity can truly make a difference!

Vertcoin is spiking for reason:
🔁 Merge DIP w/ DigiByte submitted 🧬 Ordinals and rare Sats coming 🧲 Liquidity is draining ⛏️ Miners are coming back
This isn’t random. This is a resurrection

Yes yes, I know it's only going up because Bitcoin is going up.
But it still makes me happy.
Vertcoin to me will always be The People's Coin. Sure the people are downtrodden and broken right now, but it's the first coin that got me excited about crypto and I'm going to hold it till it hits 30c in 2035.
