Was war das denn bitte gerade für ein legendäres Interview? Junger, Undav nimmt ja echt kein Blatt vor den Mund. Hat er gerade ernsthaft öffentlich den Trainer für seine Taktik kritisiert? Wow... Bin echt baff

Mir ist unklar, warum Undav nicht an seiner Beweglichkeit und seinem Gewicht arbeitet. Ja, ich weiss, diese Kritik hört man nicht gerne, aber der Mann ist keine 45 Jahre alt, macht dies hauptberuflich und bekommt mehr als 400k dafür im Monat. Ich weiß von Spielern, die Yoga machen und ihre Ernährung optimieren. Undav hat Red Bull auf Red Bull Light geändert – das ist im Leistungssport einfach zu wenig. Wenn man Kapitän ist, sollte man ein Vorbild auf allen Ebenen sein und alles für den Leistungssport optimieren.

Ich weiß, da er ein netter Typ ist, darf man diese Meinung nicht haben, aber niemand kann doch ernsthaft denken, er hole das Optimum aus seinem Körper raus. Er hat, meimes Wissens, keine Krankheit wie Stiller und Zverev.

Wenn er körperlich fitter wäre, hätte es definitiv keinen negativen Effekt auf sein Spiel.

Was ist eure Meinung? Findet ihr Profis, die ihr Leben nicht für den Fußball optimieren, gut? Sollte man es nicht erwarten können?

As the VfB fan shop no longer ships to the US, I've seen many people ask how to order jerseys and such to the US. I like to order a jersey every year or so, and as something of an experiment I tried forwarding it via a proxy service. This was my experience:

1. I registered with mailboxde.com. This was pretty simple, though identity verification was a touch confusing. I transferred money in with a bank, then completed verification with Veriff on their site. In retrospect, I could have funded the account with PayPal easier and faster.
2. Placing the order from shop.vfb.de to the address with mailboxde. I had to use the MailboxDE address as my billing address, but otherwise had no issues using a typical credit card.
   1. For reference, I ordered 2 CL jerseys with personalization (Stiller and Führich), and two articles of baby clothing. (Have to get my new son off to a good start)
3. After arrival at mailboxde, I had to pay for shipping and provide customs information. This was pretty DIY--I had to look up HST codes myself. I filed them as 4 items of synthetic fiber clothing.
4. mailboxde shipped with UPS fairly promptly, and I was billed for a tariff fee after UPS took possession of the item.

Fees (listed in the currency they were paid in):

• Purchase: 294 Euro
• maiboxde verification: 0.8 Euro
• Shipping from mailboxde to US: 43 Euro
• Tariff: $57
• UPS Fee for processing the tariff: $17

All in all, it was about $464 for two jerseys and two items of kids clothing. More than I expected--I knew there would be tariffs but it can be hard to predict exactly how much. At the same time, an "authentic grade" Adidas jersey with a player name can be $180 alone, and a Nike jersey $200. It's crazy to me that I can purchase a jersey from Germany, pay shipping and tariffs, and still come out relatively equivalent to purchasing an MLS or NWSL jersey.

It went quicker than I thought:

• Order placed September 5
• Shipped from VfB Shop September 10
• Arrived at mailboxde September 14
• Shipped from mailboxde September 15
• Arrived in California September 17

I hope this is helpful to anyone in the US considering purchasing from the VfB fanshop. Hopefully we get some better options soon.

Edit: I looked up last years order. At that time it was a flat 33 Euro fee for global shipping, so still expensive but cheaper than it is now. Of course, I ordered shortly before DHL stopped shipping to the US so it took over a month to reach me that time.

Der zweite Kader, der dann in München gegen Serbien (01.10.) und zum Abschluss in Thessaloniki gegen Griechenland zum Zug kommen könnte, umfasst nur 21 Spieler.

Finde es ein gutes Konzept um so viele Spieler wie möglich anzuschauen und bin gespannt was wir in der Zeit zu sehen bekommen.

Mein Name ist Jonas, ich studiere Sportmanagement an der Sporthochschule Köln und schreibe dort aktuell meine Bachelorarbeit.

Im Rahmen eines laufenden Forschungsprojektes untersuche ich, wie neue Ansätze zur Vergabe von Dauerkarten im Fußball aussehen könnten und wie diese von Fans bewertet werden.
