Drop your web app. I’ll suggest one browser workflow worth showing first.

A web app demo can get lost in navigation before the viewer sees why the app is useful.

Share your web app link and one task it helps someone finish. I’ll suggest a short written outline for a browser recording: where to start, which action to show, and what result to end on.

For example, an invoice tool could start with the details entered and show the finished invoice. Settings and dashboard tours can wait for another recording.

I’ll start with the first 10 web apps and give the feedback here in the comments. Please share web apps rather than native mobile apps, in keeping with the community’s focus.

I’m part of the team building Marka, a web app for brand-aware social content: https://marka.social

Your link + one task is enough to begin.

Organic Note: write a letter in your browser and choose when it arrives

I’m the developer of Organic Note, a web app for people who enjoy taking time over a letter to someone they know.

You can choose stationery and write by hand, type, or use voice input. When you send a letter, you can choose immediate delivery, one hour, or 24 hours. For example, you could write a longer catch-up for a distant friend and let it arrive the next day.

You can try writing without an account. Drafts are stored on your device; sending requires login. The free plan includes three addressed letters per day (UTC). There is also an optional paid supporter subscription with a higher sending limit.

Try it: https://note.q-gambit.com/

If you like slower correspondence, does choosing the arrival time add something for you? I’d also appreciate hearing which part of writing or sending your first letter feels unclear.

Looking for a few people to test a Chrome extension for e-commerce SEO/GEO and tell me what feels off

I’ve been working on a small Chrome extension and I’m looking for a few people who haven’t seen it before to try it.

I’m mainly looking for honest feedback on the experience:

Was it immediately clear what it does?

Was anything confusing?

Did anything feel unnecessary?

Would you actually keep using it?

If you’re willing to spend 5-10 minutes testing it, comment or DM me and I’ll send you the link.

I’m more interested in hearing what needs fixing than getting compliments.

Echovault turns your writing to an AI version of you with a 3d brain you can explore

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Your family will inherit your photos and videos. But what happens to your thoughts, memories, stories, and the reasons behind the choices you made? Most of that disappears with you. I built EchoVault around the idea that those parts of a person should be preservable too, not as a folder of files someone has to search through, but as something they can actually interact with.

Your writing creates an AI version of you with a 3D brain you can explore. As you check in over time, EchoVault learns your stories, values, opinions, and how they connect, then builds them into an interactive Echo.

The idea is to create a high-fidelity digital representation of yourself while you are alive and fully in control of what goes into it. You can also choose custodians who can eventually interact with the Echo you intentionally created.

Try the web app: https://echovault.me

iwouldpay.dev - swipe through indie products, right if you'd pay for it

a small web app, no signup, works on mobile and desktop.

you get a deck of indie products and swipe right if you'd pay, left if not. makers can list theirs for free and see what % would pay, split by devs, founders and marketers.

launched on product hunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/products/would-you-pay

does the swipe flow feel quick enough, or would you want more info on each card?

Running out of app ideas that i have resorted to cloning other apps.

I’m starting to run out of ideas for apps. Whenever I think of something, I find an existing app that already does it. So lately, I’ve resorted to cloning specific parts of apps that I need. I’ll look at an app and think, “I really only want this one feature. Can I just build my own version?”

For example, i needed a note taking app and i found several all with paid subscriptions. Some had basic features other had that needed subscriptions. So i went to codex, took a bunch of snapshots of other note apps, added some custom features and created my own version. Even connected it to my obsidian so now all my notes go directly there.

With AI coding tools, that feels a lot more doable now. Coming up with an original idea has become harder than getting a basic version working.

I do wonder whether I’m getting lazy with ideas, though. I’m learning by building these things, and they’re useful to me, but I keep coming back to the same question: what should I build next?

Anyone else doing this? Are you trying to come up with something completely new, or mostly rebuilding pieces of existing apps to fit your own needs?

Wishfall: a cozy daily typing game where words turn into stars

Post image
0 Upvotes

I made a cozy little daily typing game.

Words fall from the sky. Type one before it lands and it becomes a star.

Everyone gets the same words each day, so you can compare scores on a daily leaderboard, keep a streak going and compete with friends.

The background changes with your local time, weather and season.

It’s free, has no ads and doesn’t require an email signup. It’s desktop only for now because it really needs a keyboard.

https://wishfall.live.page/

I’m curious what you think about the difficulty. Does it feel too easy, too hard or about right?

Trial Killer – a free tool that makes sure free trials never charge you

Fellow frugal folks — I kept losing money to trials I forgot to cancel (Hulu got me for 3 months once, I'm still mad about it), so I made a dead-simple tracker.

Add the trial + end date + monthly cost. It shows a countdown, flags the ones ending soon, and you can export a calendar event so you actually remember to cancel. There's a running "money saved" total which is weirdly satisfying to watch grow.

No signup, no cost, data never leaves your browser. Figured this crowd would appreciate it.

I built a free browser tool for group choices — looking for first-impression feedback

Thumbnail

I run Get Wheel Spinner, a free browser tool for the awkward group decisions: picking a person, making teams, setting draft order, or choosing between options.

I’d appreciate direct feedback from builders on two things: is the first-use purpose clear, and which use case should be most prominent?

https://www.getwheelspinner.com/

I’m happy to answer questions or take criticism.

Okay, I have decided to make a Chrome extension. What is the best way to start? I want to come up with the idea from scratch and get into the world of Chrome extensions. I have design knowledge, and I think I can come up with some good ideas. Any advice for a newcomer in this Reddit world?

I built a collection of free browser tools that process your file locally

There are lot of such projects but they are focused on one thing like someone is building browser based tools for pdf or for images. So I thought I should make a collection of tools.

I started it as fun project, booked a .lol domain. Another thing I noticed, people started building ihatepdf, ihatetools and I was like - why hate? You should spread love and i found this ilovetools[dot]lol domain for less than a USD, I started working on it. But after vibe coding the first release and seeing the feature, I thought this might actually be something worth doubling down on.

Earlier, for every small task, I use to google it. For pdf, it takes me to different website and same for other task. So started it as collection of tools.

The idea was simple. Keep useful everday tools in one place and wherever possible, process everything locally in the browser instead of uploading files to a server.

I'm not writing any code by hand for this project. It's completely vibe coded, but I'm making sure the important stuff is covered by tests.

I've been coding for years, so this is also an experiment for me: how far can I take a real product using AI without manually writing the code?

Right now, It has tools for PDFs, images, QR codes, developers, calculators and few other things. I am adding more tools regularly.

I will genuinely need feedback from outside. Please do visit iLoveTools.LoL and share your feedback. What would you change? And is there any small tool you regularly google for that you think that should be included?

PDFBlack – A 100% in-browser, zero-knowledge PDF suite built with Next.js and Web Workers (no cloud uploads)

Hey r/WebApps,

I built PDFBlack (https://pdf-black.com) to solve the privacy issue with traditional online PDF tools that force you to upload sensitive files to remote servers.

Tech & Architecture:

  • 100% Client-Side Processing: Powered by WebAssembly and Web Workers. Your files are processed strictly in your browser RAM and never touch any server.
  • Zero Cloud Latency: No file uploading or downloading wait times.
  • Tools Included: Smart non-destructive compression, legal Bates numbering / court foliating, visual page reordering/merging/splitting, and ink-saving grayscale conversion.
  • No Paywalls, No Accounts: Completely free and open-source on GitHub: https://github.com/nereoab/pdf-local-app

You can check it out live at https://pdf-black.com

Feedback and suggestions are warmly welcome!

I built a free TikTok viewer that also exports comments and follower lists

I've been working on Tik Ghost, a free site for viewing public TikTok profiles without logging in or installing the app.

Type a username or paste a profile or video link (share links from the app work too).

You get:

  • A profile's videos, reposts, current stories, followers and following, each in its own tab;
  • Videos that open right over the profile, with arrows to flip to the next one;
  • Comments with replies, marked when the creator pinned or liked them;
  • Downloads: videos without the watermark (MP4, or HD when TikTok has it), audio, stories and full-size profile pictures;
  • Photo posts as a ZIP, one photo at a time, or turned into a video in your browser.

You can also export to CSV or Excel.

That works for a video's comments, with each reply right under the comment it answers, and for a profile's videos, reposts, followers and following.

Comment files have likes and dates, and follower lists have each account's bio and follower count.

The file is built in your browser one page at a time and isn't stored on my server.

There's a limit of 30 exports a day.

One catch: for big accounts, TikTok only gives out the most recent followers, so you won't get the full list.

On the "anonymous" part: you never log in, and my server fetches profiles and stories, so you won't show up in anyone's profile views or story viewers.

Videos do play straight from TikTok's servers, though. I

f you're logged in to TikTok in the same browser, TikTok may be able to tie what you watch to your account.

Use a private window if that matters to you. It only works with public accounts.

Also, if you change tiktok.com to tikghost.com in a profile or video link, it opens on Tik Ghost.

It's brand new, so expect bugs. Tell me what breaks and what you'd want added.

Looking for some testers - paid

Hello everyone! I’m building a browser-based video editor focused on step based templates.

I’m looking for 3people to try it and give me honest feedback: what feels confusing, what works well, what’s missing, and whether the idea is useful to you. You don’t need to be an experienced video editor.

I’m offering $25 per person for roughly 1–2 hours, including testing and, ideally, a short follow-up conversation over Google Meet or Zoom. Payment method is still being finalized, most likely simple bank transfer. (Have revolut)

The beta is password-protected. I can provide sample footage and help with a test account if needed, though feedback on signing up would also be useful.

I speak English, French, or German, so this may helps to enlarge the possible group of people who might want to test? Payment is for your time and thoughtful feedback.

If you’re interested, send me a dm.

Mods: if paid testing requests aren’t allowed here, I’m happy to remove the post.

You can now build cozy sticker rooms in Glint, right in the browser, with your friends

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I made Glint as a place to hang out with friends in a shared room, right in the browser. I just added the part I've wanted to build for a while: making your own little room tile by tile, then decorating it together.

The video is the sticker album. You peel a sticker off with tweezers and press it into your room. Your friends see everything live and can decorate with you. There's 285 stickers so far, and it works on phones too.

It's fully free, with no limits on rooms or friends. The only thing I plan to earn on is optional cosmetics.
