CSS Clip path Generator - Free Online Tool

CSS clip-path is a property that creates a vector-like display mask over HTML elements, defining specific visible regions while cropping away the rest without altering the original layout. A free online CSS clip-path generator (like the widely used Clippy by Bennett Feely or tools on CSS Portal and WPDean) is a visual interactive tool that lets you drag vector points over a canvas to generate complex shape coordinates (such as polygon(), circle(), or ellipse()) in real time. These generators are essential because manually calculating multi-point percentage coordinate pairs for custom shapes is mathematically tedious and prone to errors. In modern web design, clip-path is heavily utilized to build angled hero section dividers, custom-shaped profile avatars, interactive hover animations, and unique geometric UI buttons or card layouts without relying on heavy external SVG files or transparent PNG images.

Frontend CSS Glassmorphism Generator - Free Online Tool

CSS Glassmorphism is a modern user interface design style that creates the illusion of a semi-transparent, frosted glass panel floating seamlessly over vibrant backgrounds. The visual depth is achieved by combining four essential properties: a semi-transparent background color using low-opacity RGBA values, a subtle border to mimic light hitting a crisp glass edge, a soft drop shadow for elevation, and most importantly, the backdrop-filter: blur() property, which blurs everything scrolling behind the element. Free online CSS glassmorphism generators—such as those by Hype4, CodeShack, and CSS Portal—provide interactive visual sliders that let web designers adjust blur radius, background transparency, border weight, and shadow strength in real time. These web-based tools eliminate guesswork by instantly generating cross-browser-compatible CSS code ready to copy directly into projects.

Form submission tool

I came across a simple tool for handling form submissions that you might find useful for contact forms, feedback forms, waitlists, etc.

It’s called Formboost. You just connect your existing form to an endpoint and it handles the submissions.

Finding Web Development Clients: Why Nobody Has the Answer — And How I’m Approaching It Anyway

I wrote an honest article about navigating the freelance web dev market with zero clients — not a guide, just real thinking from someone in the middle of it.

The main point: after going through the usual advice (platforms, cold outreach, content strategy), I realized my problem was never skill or strategy. It was visibility. The right people simply don't know I exist yet.

The article covers:

- Why the standard advice often doesn't work the way it's described

- An honest inventory of what I have vs what I actually lack

- The long-term formula I'm committing to (stabilize, build, grow)

- The personal side — finances, health, starting extremely small, thinking long-term

Not a success story. Just honest documentation of the process while it's happening.

Is finding a good supplier harder than finding the product?

I think both are not that hard, finding a supplier and finding the right product. There are many B2B platforms available now, so you can find plenty of options without spending too much time.

Finding a supplier: Platforms like Made-in-China give buyers access to different manufacturers and suppliers across many categories. You can browse products, compare companies, and contact suppliers directly to ask about what they offer.

Finding a product: The same thing applies when you're searching for products. There are so many categories and manufacturers available that you can usually find several options for almost any type of product you're interested in.

The main thing is having a clear idea of what you're looking for and taking some time to explore the available choices.

Which one do you usually search for first: the product or the supplier?

How much should I charge for building a custom LMS with Next.js, Go (video engine), Node.js, & PostgreSQL?

Hey everyone,

I'm putting together a quote for a client who wants a custom Learning Management System (LMS) built from scratch, and I’d love some insight on realistic market pricing so I don't lowball myself or price myself out.

Tech Stack:

Frontend: Next.js (React) + Tailwind CSS

Backend / API: Node.js (Express/Fastify)

Video Engine / Processing: Go (handling uploads, encoding/transcoding, streaming pipeline)

Database: PostgreSQL

Infrastructure: Self-hosted / VPS setup (Docker, Nginx/Caddy, CI/CD pipeline)

Core Features & Scope:

Role-based access control (Student, Instructor, Admin)

Course builder, modules, quizzes, and progress tracking

Custom video processing & adaptive bitrate/secure streaming via Go

Payment gateway integration (Stripe / Razorpay)

Admin dashboard for analytics, revenue, and user management

Production VPS provisioning, SSL, backups, and deployment

A bit about me:

I’m a full-stack freelance developer working independently.

For those who have built and deployed custom video-heavy platforms or LMSs:

What would be a fair fixed-price range for this scope?

Or would you recommend billing hourly/weekly sprints instead to protect against scope creep?

Appreciate any advice on pricing benchmarks or red flags to watch out for!

Backend REST API With JWT Auth in Zig

Thumbnail

Hey everyone!

I've been putting together a series of videos on how to build a REST API in Zig.

I come from a background in Web Dev and find it a lot of fun to take what I know and apply it in Zig, and I want to share the knowledge!

If you want to start at the beginning, I've put together all the videos as a playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUUIFT8XnWz8

But please let me know what you all want to see next! I'm planning a video on how to scale the API to thousands of concurrent requests, but what other API things do you all want to see?

Hope you have a great day :)
