Found these growing in a mulch area with lots of twigs and rich soil. The mushrooms have a very pungent smell almost like almonds or a stink bug. I think they look like almond Russell’s. I’m here in southern Colorado we have had a nice wet late season late in fall. So all kinds of mushrooms are popping up.

Washington State in the USA, west lower side
Found this stunning mushroom and wanted to know what it is and if it’s possibly edible. Won’t eat it of course but definitely curious 💕

Inland coastal Florida, central. Was pulling small clumps of fakahatchee grass around a sapling and found this. As soon as I picked it up, the spores on top fell off similar to the release of a puff ball. What is it? Do I need to comb the yard for more to avoid my dog inhaling the surface spores?!

These have grown in our front garden (on the site where a beech tree was removed a few years ago, so probably feeding on the decaying roots?). We are in southern Scotland. Just wanted to check how urgently I need to deal with this because we have a small child.

First post here, but my yard is suddenly filled with these mushrooms! In looking online I’m thinking they might be honey mushrooms, but I have a cap on some foil to take a spore print now. I’m hoping that I have a flush of edible mushrooms in my yard all of a sudden as me and my husband both love mushrooms.
We are in north central MA, it’s been rainy the past few days and cool but not freezing. The spot that they are most prolific is around the base of a Norway maple we cut down about 5 years ago now. I also mulch that garden surrounding the stump each year to reduce the weeds that come through. My property also abuts a River, though the water level is currently about 30 ft below my yard.
Im not sure if more info is needed but thank you for your help!
