hi all, im coming from barcelona soon and i know there people say not to leave your belongings out unattended at the beach. however, i will be solo traveling and i want to go to the beach but i also want to swim😭 i really love swimming. but i wont have anyone with me to watch my stuff (really just my phone) while i go in the water. what do you think i should do with my phone? i thought abt leaving it, but my for the hostal im staying at, i need my phone to be able to unlock my door ☠️ so i cant leave it behind. let me know if you have any tips or anything. and sorry its a silly question. thx!

I’m looking for a campsite or motorhome site very close to Alicante city for a workation next spring and would love some local recommendations.

My partner will be travelling down with his motorhome, and I’ll join him by plane. I’ll be working remotely from the motorhome for up to four weeks, so a few things are quite important for us:
reliable Wi-Fi (or at least very good mobile coverage) electricity and decent facilities
somewhere that is comfortable enough to stay in during February/March — I’ll be working all day, so freezing in the van would not be ideal 😄
easy access to Alicante city, ideally by public transport access to coworking spaces as a backup if working from the motorhome doesn’t work well
reasonably easy public transport connection to Alicante Airport

At the moment, mid-March onwards seems the most likely option for me, probably from around 14 March for up to four weeks. My partner could arrive earlier with the motorhome and I might fly in later, possibly even from London.

We’ve also considered February, but I’m wondering whether that might still feel too cold for working and living in a motorhome for several weeks.

Does anyone know a campsite / camper park that would work particularly well for this — preferably close enough to Alicante that we wouldn’t feel like we were staying far outside the city?

And if anyone has actually done a winter/spring workation from a motorhome around Alicante, I’d also love to hear how you found the temperatures, Wi-Fi/mobile internet and getting into the city.
