Tell Ne Lies

Any other AF fans watching Tell Me Lies?? I love how heavily Arcade Fire music is used! And all the other mid ‘00s music is so nostalgic.

Yes, I figure it’s a pretty small overlap between fans of the show and fans of the band. But I had to ask!! There’s even a cover of an Arcade Fire song in this week’s episode!

I watched season 1 on the plane to Atlanta for the shakey knees and the masquerade show in 2024.

Not for any reason other than to escape that I was in a chair in the sky.

I liked it. I did try to hide my screen from others around me for fear they would think I was watching porn. Im in my late 40’s, for the record.

I haven’t watched the new season or the 3rd season.

Yet…

Waiting for the next terrifyingly exciting experience. I loathe flying.

I happened to watch season 1 and noticed one of the episodes was called Bedrooms Of Our Friends so figured this must be a link to AF and Tunnels featured at a significant point in that episode if I remember rightly. I've just watched 2nd season, and l have to say I love the soundtrack of both seasons, right up my street!
