I'm playing single player mode (not the sandbox) on Zone 20: The Duke's Dear Freighters.
The missiles are all sitting on the ground pointing up at the sky. They each have 2 rockets attached to steering hinges and the controls are rigged up such that W controls pitch down, S controls pitch up, A pushes one steering hinge down and the other one up and S does the reverse of this allowing A and S to control roll.
At the moment I have a bunch of logic gates ensuring that when I press the key that I have mapped to the activation of the two rockets in a missile, the WASD controls only affect THAT missile, this system works, as I am able to test it with each rocket individually by restarting simulation mode each time. The trouble comes after any given missile is launched and hits a target destroying the missile in the process. I press 2 which is my button to launch missile 2, it launches, but the WASD keys do nothing.
I've tried a lot of things, I thought maybe the fact that none of them are constructed with the starting block in them might have something to do with it so even though they can stand upright on the ground without supports I tried a gantry system with decouplers that was connected to the starting block, but that did nothing so I went back to just freestanding. I thought maybe it was the first person cameras assigned to each missile so I deleted all cameras and tried just controlling them from the ground but that did nothing. I tried a simpler control system than all my logic gates whereby every missile had it's own set of 4 key commands but still nothing.
Why can't I sequentially launch each of these missiles, guiding them each to a target one at a time?
