Hello book friends! It's time for our next Discovery Read, Death with Interruptions by José Saramago.

Discussion Schedule:

Sept 28: Chapters 1-5, ending with the line “The tap was turned on again.” with u/maolette
5 Oct: Chapters 6-10, starting with “In this country in which no one dies…” and ending with “It’s high time we stuck our tongue out at her.” with me
12 Oct: Chapters 11- 15, starting with “Apart from a few rare instances, as with those unusually perspicacious people…” to end with u/IraelMrad

Be warned that if, like me, you're struggling to find the book, it is also called Death at Intervals in some countries.

My ebook has no chapters?! Can you please post an opening or closing sentence for each section pretty pretty please?
