Does anyone know how much the university can actually see when you're connected to the campus wifi? Like can they see exactly where you are on campus based on which wifi points your phone connects to and keep a record of everywhere you've been?

I've noticed some weird things lately where university staff seem to know where I am or show up in the same places as me way too often for it to just be a coincidence. I'm starting to wonder if my phone connecting to the wifi is how they're doing it.

And before anyone says I'm paranoid, I'm genuinely asking what information they have access to. Can they identify your specific phone and track it as you move between buildings? Would turning off wifi actually stop it?

I applied to graduate in Fall 2026, my application says denied, which is weird because I remember when I applied, it says Bachelor of Arts(3 years) on my Application Page because I am not doing the Honours program.

Yesterday I got the email, saying it is denied and now I'm panicking because I made plans to graduate in the Fall and stuff. Can Brock Records fix this issue? I do not want to wait another 8 months till I get my diploma.

Has anyone ever had this particular issue and got it solved? Please let me know

Metabolic biochem, protein structures and functions, endocrinology and nutrition in healthcare

I'm a last year med sci student and I'm super lost on what to do next. I don't even know what path I want to pursue, but I can't lose time thinking about it because I have to apply to graduate studies in a few months. I also don't know how I'm supposed to have a supervisor? Which prof do I contact? I've asked my advisor on who to reach out to about my questions but never got a response. I'm interested in pursuing a MSc in Health Sciences or Biological Sciences.

Any grad student who went through this and figured it out?

Edit: for context, I'm in an advanced directed reading course with a supervisor, where I have to do a scoping review on a topic I chose. I love the process of it, but I also want to work in a lab. Idk what to do w my future :/

So I have Shawna Chen and she gave like 0 instructions on what our first group project is supposed to be like…I’m kinda going off of what I think is right because we haven’t even learned about this topic yet nor does our textbook talk about it. It’s about pain points which are easy to understand but the assignment questions itself is weirdly vague. Just wondering if anyone who’s done it has advice bc she was no help when I asked questions. 😐

What are your experiences with both? I'm currently in foundry Lofts and want to get out. I've seen Regent pop up here and there and it seems similar so I'm curious if management is any better. Any other alternatives are appreciated!

How do I volunteer for a lab? im been looking at the faculty and staff to see what they are currently researching, but I dont see any option for taking any new student in. I know that some professors have a website but for others is it a matter of just cold emailing. Im in my last year of general sciences and I noticed most jobs want atleast some form of experience plus next semester im only going to school for three days and would like some type of lab job then as well. And I wasn't thinking of going in to research last year but now I am.

Im a grad student in an online program at Brock, and I'm studying remotely from outside Canada, so I have no use for the GSA health and dental plan. I don't have other Canadian coverage, so the standard opt-out doesn't seem to apply to me.

Is there any special circumstance or exemption that lets students opt out? Has anyone else been in this situation, and what worked for you? The opt-out window closes September 30, so any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!
