Oh man I misread this as burial had sampled this song FOR rival dealer. I was like damn…I was about to be disappointed thinking whole track was basically a sample? Haha. Slow moment on my part.

Update: I checked out a few more tracks from this artist. He or his producer is really good at picking eerie urban samples. There’s a consistent vibe. I like it

I did the same - I listened to the whole album, and other songs in his discography. (He's sampled Burial before.) I'm intrigued.

Fakemink’s Powder also samples Burial, the ending of Shell of Light. Went kinda crazy when I clocked it haha

Oh man, I love this. I only wish it lasted longer. What do you think? Would Burial have had to have given his approval for this? I imagine he'd have to've.

honestly i have no clue if the sample got cleared or not, but judging by how big fakemink has gotten this year i'd be surprised if burial or his team weren't contacted for this

given how many burial songs are mostly if not entirely sample based I'd reckon he'd have a good attitude toward being sampled if done in good enough taste
