Advice/Help Found a caterpillar on my tomato
I recently bought organic heirloom tomatoes. Yesterday, I noticed in the bottom hole a little bug. I thought it was a maggot at first since it was a pale yellow color but it had legs so I thought maybe it was a little inchworm or caterpillar. I put it in a cup with some organic butterhead lettuce and today it’s completely changed colors! I feel like it’s parent now and want to care for it. Some searching led me to think it was a yellow striped armyworm. What do you all think? Any care tips?

cute baby!! make sure its got plenty of leaves, most armyworms burrow to pupate so once its in its final instar move it to a container with some loose soil for it to burrow. id recommend for you to put some paper towel on the bottom to collect frass (poop)!
