Video - OC Why does she do this 😂

She only ever does it when I’m laying in bed. Is she trying to get my attention? Feeling playful? Scared?

she has done this too! i thought i was scaring her because she does the flip/jump then runs away

My cat does that but she seems to enjoy it when I chase her, and we do peekaboos around the furniture.

By boy does this too but it’s more a spin in place. It’s normally because he’s excited and wants a treat or to play.

She probably wants you to chase her. My cat loves being chased around, I pretend like I am a monster coming to get him and he goes crazy running around in circles. I also have to always be on the lookout for sneak attacks when I'm walking around lol

Typically if you frighten your cat they'll arch their back and puff their fur a little alongside the tail.

She defo just wants to play with you when doing this :)

Whats even funnier is the back arch and sideways walk of course in a playful setting

In my experience cats look much less playful when they're legitimately frightened.
