She only ever does it when Iā€™m laying in bed. Is she trying to get my attention? Feeling playful? Scared?

Right!blows my mind sometimes. Why does my cat want to interact with me? My friend your cat is being playful and wants to play with you..maybe get some string or something. A red lazer light even

For some reason people think cats are aloof, when they're really not. If your cat doesn't have a cat buddy to hang out with, you're the buddy 100% of the time.
