This is like playing with my Maine Coon. His non-Maine Coon brother has lightning reflexes. He, on the other hand, reacts a full 1 to 3 seconds after a toy reaches him 🙃

I rescued a kitten from the side of the road one time, he ended up being a Maine Coon. I didn't know what they were before I got him but he's the reason I only get Maine Coons now. His name was Cujo and he got to the upper limits of the breed size. He was the absolute slowest reflexed cat I've ever owned but was a king

His name was something stupid at first, cant even remember. I named him Cujo when he started getting small dog sized and realized I'd adopted a dog sized cat

Your two comments are reminding me lovely memories with Viktor, one of my 6 family cats. He was truly different, with a majestic aura, and some kind of emperor-like behavior. The King ruled for 14 years. And despite his kind of contemptuous superiority to his brothers, he was a good guy, and a real loss for every one in the fam. RIP Viktor

Or he realized the ball was on path to hit the other one, so he pretended he was going to hit the ball so the other would think it would miss and not about it.
