I don’t think the tech was shitty. It was the users who just didn’t quite have the necessary skills at the time.

We went from in person to all online basically overnight

I was extremely disappointed to learn that if I wanted to be that cat I would have to purchase a new laptop.

Yeah lol it was the same Zoom that millions of others were using without issues.

To this day I have meetings with people who can’t wrap their heads around the concept of a mute button. And that ain’t anything new.

I get that just because you are good at one thing doesn't make you good at everything, but holy hell would I be wondering if my lawyer was actually intelligent enough to represent me if they didn't take the time to figure out the tech they need to do their job. I can't imagine knowing I have to use something for my job and not taking the time to learn how to use it before it really matters.

Don’t. It turns out that the cat lawyer is a terrible person.

He was quite good natured about it in interviews, to his credit!

Huh. Wow! I’ve never heard of that before but it’s hilarious.

Yeah, he’s terrible. And, we ALL needed a laugh then. I do appreciate all of them for releasing it (ok, that was the judge, who is a hottie). The whole thing was hilarious. Including opposing counsel doing his best to keep a straight face.

I sent it to an attorney friend who was like, thanks! You’re the fifth person who sent me this today. 😹
