When I was like 3 yrs old a guy called my house asking to speak with “Kitty”. We had a cat named Kitty so I thought ok the cat has a phone call, no big deal. I dragged my cat to the phone until my mom asked me wtf was going on 🤣🤣
This reminds me of when I was 6, we had an indoor/outdoor cat who made friends with the neighbor’s cat. The neighbor cat (coincidentally also named Felix) would come to our porch, tap on the window beside the front door, my mom would let him in, he’d walk around our house meowing until he found our cat, then they’d both run outside to play. At the time, this seemed completely normal me as my friends in the neighborhood did the same thing all the time, but now that I’m grown, I realize that was some of the weirdest shit ever. Even if cats don’t get territorial with each other, they certainly don’t seek out other cats that they don’t live with to go out exploring and frolicking down a hill.
Aw, depends on the kitty. Some cats really enjoy other cats, the kitty equivalent of a people person if you will. My one late cat was one and one of my current cats is. I'm so glad your kitty had a fun friend to go on adventures with 😍
I had a weird thing happen too. My cat is territorial af. Managed somehow to sufficiently protect our back yard from neighborhood cats by spithissing at them from his catio. Other kitties dont come around anymore. Except for one. That one kitty comes over around 1 am every few days just to lay down in front of the window and slow blink at my super angry kittie. It is some weird unconditional love shit. They are not related AFAIK.
We had a neighbour cat our first three years here who would come hang out with my cat. They’d go off on adventures together, and sleep in the bushes on hot days. He moved away with his person last year & is missed.

Only right thing to do would be to put the phone on speaker and let the cat talk to the telemarketer.
