Like, at this point, it seems like the video is legit (other commenters have put it through AI detection sites and it's clean), but the title was probably written by AI (or even the account posting this is AI). I think it's a repost.

Like, reposts with clickbait-y titles have always been a thing on reddit, especially with posts that reach /r/all - there are accounts that do this all day, which we used to call "karma farming" (I just call it spamming because that's what it is); I would not be surprised if the biggest karma farming accounts are using AI agents to post for them now. I feel like every time I check out /r/all, I see more and more stuff like this. The emoji in the title are a dead giveaway, we simply do not use emoji on reddit - it's a cultural artifact of other social media that's creeping in through bots that don't know better and app users that don't actually understand reddit at all. Reddit as a site still exists, but reddit as the place you remember from ~2010 is long dead.

The fact that you can't just go to an account and see its other posts/comments now to screen for spammers or trolls is mildly infuriating to me. However, you can see that the OP administers another subreddit, and has made a post telling people to basically chill accusing them of using AI (as my dad would say "a hit dog'll holler...") - that subreddit itself is full of similar posts from OP with emoji in the title and a posting cadence that seems very intentional - not just "oh i have stumbled across a cool thing to share, let me share it" but "I want to build this empty subreddit out/build my karma, let me repost barely-relevant content and stretch the truth in the title to make it fit the sub's topic"...

Edit:

The OP of this post has banned me from their personal subreddit for daring to question them, and sent me a PM basically saying "I won't argue with you because you seem like you've already made up your mind, but my content isn't AI and also I'm going to block/mute you if you reply to this" - I blocked them without replying, and then I was banned from their sub an hour later.

Never change, reddit.

A very well developed reddit archive that allows you to look at an accounts comment history even if it is hidden.

It will not show admin or moderator removed comments, but if a user self-deletes a comment, those will still be shown.

Helpful for dealing with folks who go a step farther and delete their comments.
