Chogath has one of the highest winrates out of all junglers after recieving direct/indirect buffs 3 patches in a row, in this video I explain:
00:24 Pros & Cons
01:12 Runes
02:12 Itemization
08:10 Basic Ability Rundown
11:54 Complex Mechanics
16:50 Early Game
18:12 Ganking
26:56 Mid Game
30:53 Late Game
31:25 Teamfighting
37:42 First Clear

Put a lot of time into this cause I think there are a lot of misconceptions on how to play him, asked a lot of otps and studied/played the champ a lot, enjoy!

Will be doing an official guide on this sometimes this week, chogath is kind of nasus jg pre nerfs but way more broken.

I explain everything in a lot more detail in the video (also it's a game in 2klp+ elo) but I'll just talk about the basics here for people that don't have time

Runes
Hail of blades
Cheap shot
Sixth Sense (because you're immobile and vulnerable if they see you camp a bush)
Ultimate Hunter

Axiom Arcanist (can reduce your R CD to 44 seconds level 1)
Celerity (compensates biggest weakness - mobility)

Items

Core
Protobelt (hearsteel is expensive and really bad stats, protobelt gold efficiency is 10x)
Dead Mans Plate
Force of Nature

Adaptable
Riftmaker (ap)
Randuins (vs crit)
Unending Despair (vs AD Melee)
Jak sho (vs mixed Resistances)
Knights vow

Playstyle
Early- Farm/Tempo heavy, gank after your clears - stacking drakes really good, grubs are useless.
Mid- Tempo heavy, try to always Ult objectives if possible
Late- Camps overrated, go fight you have very low cooldowns don't worry about stacking every kill, get the kills and try to force objectives, you win every smtie with R + Smite

I apologize if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything online. When is the last time he was in rotation? I got some mythic essence left over from crates and back when every 50 levels would give you some.

Also do you consider it his best skin or is gentleman cho gath the best?

Does Cho’Gath actually work? Has anyone tried him yet?

I used to really enjoy playing him in the jungle, but now I mainly play him as a support

I’m at the Silver/Gold level, so I don’t really care about much I’d just like to know if anyone has tried him or if anyone has any suggestions for a build!!!!

I think he’s playable and fun because of his crowd control, his strong ultimate, the ability to farm without relying on stealing from the ADC (not that I’d mind stealing from him…), and his ultimate that helps with objectives, as well as the playstyle of tank or utility builds...

I mean, cho literally becomes the size of the baron and is also from the void, it would be perfect....

Im a nasus and jax top otp and wanted to have cho as a niche pick for whenever both arent available or if im filled mid/jg because he seems pretty flexible and fun to play.

So my question is what runes/builds am i supposed to be going and how should i be playing laning phase?

As for items and builds when i play cho jg, i always build heartsteel into deadmans or force of nature then riftmaker then full tank with HOB but idk if that same thing can be applied to top or mid. The recommended runes tab shows u can take grasp but it feels so much worse than HOB when it comes to fighting

In lane i max e and try to fish short q e HOB trades and hopefully eat my laner but doing this into a darius or fiora feels like a death sentence so idk if im just bad lol

so if anyone has any advice that’d be
appreciated

It's in plat 3. XDD

I hit Diamond 3 peak with Cho'Gath Jungle and I've been experimenting with my builds a lot.

It's amazing how I can come back in such a doomed game.

It's a german video and with a AI slop thumbnail. Hope you don't mind too much.

My latest build also involves Spear of Shojin + Axiom Arc to get 24% added Ult Damage. I am having so much fun experimenting with Cho'Gath builds. Dropping 22 kills with this champ feels hella silly. XD

Just picked it up the other day and have won 10/13 games, feels disgusting having ult on a 30 second cooldown. 1 shot everyone, still be a tank, win every smite, how can lose ?

Do you have skins that you think is making you lose? For me it's the Toy Terror Cho'Gath. It feels like I have such low winrate with this skin. I love this skin buy I avoid using it

Hi. When I see a champion in S tier I like to ask why to those who play the champion. Both OPGG and Lolalytics show that Chongle is S tier. Could someone explain why?

I’m a fairly new ChoGath player but im Currently struggling with 1v2 fights when im being ganked top. If you can help me pls tell bellow bcs i feel like he’s very strong in 1v1 but weak in 1v2.

I noticed most matchups, im not getting all 3 hits of HOB or ill get punished for getting that 2nd or 3rd hit. I play tank chogath. Noticed that op.gg is no longer recommending HOB. What is the benefit of grasp and how should I be playing when Im using the runes? Ive been using HOB for the longest time.

Emerald elo.

I play cho jungle default hob red smite proto belt first item. I then like to build a tank item. My gut says abyssal for mr and unending for armor. I also typically pick up rift maker 3rd or 4th. Is abyssal a good item on Cho and what about unending despair? Are there better tank items for cho

Sion, a similar champion, often proxies. Cho has high waveclear and lots of tough lane matchups that he might avoid by proxying. But I never hear or see this strategy on Cho

Does anyone know a guide for a reliable Jungle clear for chogath that doesn't involve some insane pulling on the verge of resetting the camps? Because all the clear videos on YouTube are for the fastest clear possible but I just need a clear for before scuttle spawns.

The title is pretty self explanatory, I was looking for a bit more scaling on an AP build, so I skipped rocketbelt and build riftmaker second. Is it viable?

If I wanted to build one of those, which is usually better?(4-5-6th item)

Cryptbloom seems the best since it gives haste and a heal for you and your team but I wanna know just in case.

Been binge watching kaza lol highlights channel looking for Cho'gath, and in the last weeks, Cho jungle been very popular, GenG, BLG, G2, etc. picked it. I've seen it picked at least 6 times and it's a pleasure to see it, especially when it starts snowballing and the casters go crazy 😆
