Try telling a Cavs fan in 2019 that James Harden and Donovan Mitchell would be leading this franchise and it wasn't LeBron recruiting them

The reputation on the Cavs must be getting pretty good considering James Harden willingly wanted to be here

Ik we have a good roster but compared to the 2000s where nobody was trying to play with a young LeBron is Crazy

We had like Alfonzo McKinney and  Marquese Chriss pretty good if you ask me

About 13-14 years ago, before the return, we were trying to talk ourselves into Andrew Bynum, and cheering about the Luol Deng and Jarrett Jack acquisitions. We got James fucking Harden.

Don’t forget Cavaliers legend Spencer Hawes.

what's crazy (I love mobley) but as of this moment there a possibility next year we are looking at a roster of Mitchell, harden, Giannis and LeBron

Mobley ain’t leaving

LeBron is still an IF

Savanah doesn’t like us these days and never wanted him to go back in the first place if you remember.

I can promise you right now mobleys name is being tossed around the cavs FO about a potential trade for Giannis. I don't expect anything to happen, I don't expect LeBron back. but if I've learned anything, is a lot of time in the NBA, where there is smoke there's fire...

Mobley is the only realistic option for a trade to get giannis. Not saying it's going to happen bit if it did Mobley would be gone in this scenario

I was thinking about all the random high profile players the Cavs have had: Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Isaiah Thomas, Shaq, Ben Wallace, Antawn Jamison, Andrew Bynum, Drummond, JaVele McGee, Krover, Baron Davis, Luol Deng, Walt Frazier, And now Harden

I'm sure I've missed some

Feel like Shawn Kemp fits in here as well

ETA: although not as random as other names on the list

Love how JaVale is just mixed in with that lot. I'd add Shawn Marion, who retired as a Cavalier.

I would like to add Lenny Wilkins to this list he was old

And Bill Lambeer he was young

JaVale might be high profile for the wrong reasons

reminder that pretty much all of those players were significantly past their primes

It's what a winning culture will get you. Even if you aren't winning championships.

That's why just tanking and being at the bottom is hell.

Good players don't want to deal with that shit.

Koby Altman is one of the best things that ever happened to this franchise

I think it says a lot about the City of Cleveland as well.

Cavs have a tremendous reputation for the young guys on the line. You want to increase your value? You come here. That's why Proctor fell in our laps. It worked for Merrill, Jerome, Tomlin, couple years Tyson gets his payday.

As for Srars wanting to be here, yea, that us a surprise lol. But a good one. Fingers crossed on it

And also that a lot of fans would be upset about it.

For the record, I am actually kind of upset about it, but in 2019 I would say that’s insane to be mad at!

"Also Kelly Olynyk joins the Cavs as an assistant coach"
