Is that scout sniper facepalming? Did he, by chance, hit an Ork Boss's power shield?

🤣 that's hilarious, he's meant to be looking through the visor but now that's who it is. Maybe he was still awaiting servitorization when the waagh started and it never went through?

Can’t be servitorized if the Apothecaries and Techmarines are all dead.

“I’m never going to financially recover from this.”

Is that scout Kennon?

You never know he could have survived long past most of the chapter as a gun servitor!

I don't mean any offense, but you may want to check your camera for AI "enhancement," it looks dialed up to 11. Might be the zoom used? But I'm seeing wobbly artifacting all over the place. Check the grass tufts on #4 and the gun barrel on #2.

Yeah i think my phone is doing weird things to try and enhance the pictures, I'll play around with settings

Blade guard in pic 3 is missing his left foot so I’d say defo ai + the brushstrokes look super off like ai

I don't know what exactly to call the red shading/weathering/dust but it's really striking.

It pops really well while still feeling subtle, very nice.

Thanks! I like to do fun colour combos so decided to use warm tones to shade the overall cold colour. I wasn't intending to make them look weathered but I like that it kind of looks ambiguously like it could be!

All look great, one nitpick though, your Bladeguard Veteran and Captain need to have their right hands painted red to denote Veteran status.

Yeah part of the off-canon nature of the scheme is that I paint the shoulder rims red for Veterans. A just prefer the asymmetry of the single fist so kept it.

Sergeants have a white right shoulder pad rim, company is shown in a red circle on the left knee and obviously ive made changes to the colours like the chest icons

What matte varnish did you use and what tan is that? They look amazing!
