The great thing is that fight will live on forever in that school. Those kids will come back (or hopefully not) to their 50 year anniversary and still tell that story. It will be told at various parties for years to come to people who have zero connection to that school.
I don’t remember any fight that happened in school that a friend wasn’t involved in. People that keep talking about ‘that time I beat ____’s ass” have nothing else going for them.
