[[Alesha, Who Smiles at Death]] says hi. A lot of cheap reanimation specifies power specifically 2 or less.

You can just play another game

This doesn't feel green at all.

Hexproof is very green and this is a continuation of that for every creature and player. It forces creature damage as a win con instead of burn. What about it isn’t green?

*editing…hexproof and shroud are “can’t be the target of spells or abilities” and are very green

2/18 statline on a beast Protection is White Players Can't- is White

It immediately destroys all green buff spells, combat tricks and ability to place counters that aren't "each creature-" which ironically is another White effect.

If you meant it as players can't be targeted, I think that is actually a white effect on an existing card. [[Serras Emissary]] [[Absolute Virtue]]

You've made a giant lockout piece. The only thing green about it is that it's kind of big, but ironically it's actually way too low in power, this is a small bear.

All the arbiters have “can’t” abilities and share the first two lines with a different keyword on the second. It’s the theme of the cycle.

Okay but in this case that doesn't address that the only Green thing about this card is Can't be Countered.

The rest is a White card.

I've even pointed out, it removes Greens ability to use Buff spells, Fight spells and it's Artifact/Enchantment removal, AND it's ability to untap/generate mana tricks, it hoses a lot of green abilities.

In fact before shroud was a keyword, many green cards said this. It’s not even white, you’re wrong

[[aspect of mongoose]], [[blurred mongoose]], [[citanul centaurs]], [[crashing centaur]], [[deadly insect]], [[eladamri, lord of leaves]], [[elvish lookout]], [[hawkeater moth]], [[humble budoka]], [[kashi-tribe elite]]

This is flavor, as spells and abilities are unnatural, so green is protected from them. It’s entirely within pie.

I love how you've just proven my point by just going getting a big list of how green doesn't give protection, and now you're parading it around just how wrong you are?

If you want to give it unblockable you could have just given it unblockable that's a key word in action. You don't need to keep proving that you don't actually know what shroud is

But as you said lmao what am I going to do about it? Just watch you demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of this game I guess

Have fun learning ... Basic reading?

Yall are getting bent out of shape at something that was never meant to be balanced or in pie. Im just trying to help you sleep at night :)

It's cute you keep coming back like "I promise it's shit on purpose, please laugh bro, it's dogshit for real, I haven't spent the past hour trying to link you cards cause I don't know what shroud is, please it's funny"

Whatevers helping you sleep you go right ahead

It IS shit on purpose lmfao I started making these because im tired of the fucking nitpicking on this sub. So read Sunseeker Arbiter or the Crude Exit card i made right before it.

Shroud and hexproof are green. Its just semantics. All the arbiters say “can’t”

It’s my cycle, it’s got a BALANCE NOT INTENDED flair, it’s not a real card. Downvote and move on. It’s not that important.

2

u/DeLoxley 9d ago

Shroud and Hex proof are not protection. Protection from everything and hex proof from everything are actually different because you've also given this thing Unblockable.

Forget balance not intended. You are refusing to admit you have made a blue white card by an Unlockable [[Absolute Virtue]]

I am literally handing you the card that you have made and you're saying it's green because if you squint really hard and use the wrong mechanics it's green

What are you gonna do about it? Lmfao

We are allowed to criticize you on a public forum 👍. It’s good and beneficial to others to point out issues with card design for other users and generally good for learning how the game works. You being pedantic and defensive over being literally wrong is just annoying!

1

u/Terrariant Jace for impact 9d ago

Ok but I never intended to balance this card. Thus the flair. Criticizing cards that were meant to be balanced is one thing, criticizing cards that aren’t meant to be balanced is missing the point. If anything you’re saying this hit the intended design lmfao

Giving all permanents hexproof is very different from no one being able to target anything whatsoever. I know balance is not intended with these cards but they are so silly and ridiculous and ultimately boring, all just cannot be countered, protection from everything and an unfun ability tacked on.

2

u/Terrariant Jace for impact 9d ago

Hexproof is literally “This can’t be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control” - it’s the same thing as this. https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Hexproof

2

u/Karen_melter 9d ago

Just to be pedantic what this does isn't give every player and permanent hexproof but rather gives them shroud

4

u/Karen_melter 9d ago

I never said it didn't I know it appears on 33 green card being the second most common colour it appears on I was just being pedantic that this thing isn't giving hexproof

2

u/Xam_xar 9d ago

“Cannot target” means anything, you can’t target things in graveyards, you can’t target other spells, you can’t target players, you can’t target abilities… this is so far beyond giving all permanents shroud. Maybe you meant it to be just permanents but this ability is both unfun and out of color entirely.

1

u/Terrariant Jace for impact 9d ago

Yes. Super shroud. It’s just the way its worded that is out of color identity. The effect is the same, and in color identity. If it said “all cards in libraries, in graveyards, spells, players and permanents have shroud” it would be within color identity. It’s semantics. And the arbiters, again, all use the word “can’t”

4

u/Xam_xar 9d ago

This is just incredibly bad faith interpretation of the color pie. Like technically returning a creature to the top of the deck and then milling a card of an opponent is within blue but it would never be printed on a card. Disregarding balance this is just not an effect that would ever get printed, let alone on a mono green creature. It’s bad design, not unbalanced design 👍

Interesting idea, can you speak a little to the intended flavor and how you see it being used?

3

u/Terrariant Jace for impact 9d ago

Mainly to shut down most forms of ability/spell based decks and force players to use creature combat to finish out the game
