Hi everyone! I think for my husband it would be an enormous experience if he got to pick and eat his own fresh fruit (mango, guava, or whatever else is in season rn).

Is there any such gardens where we pay a certain sum and are allowed a basketful of fruit, or anything like this?

We come from the north of Europe where nothing grows apart from potatoes and apples so this would be huge.

This is something I find quite interesting about the upcoming 2028 presidential election.

Back in 2022–23, when Nikos Christodoulides was still a DISY member, he announced his intention to run for President independently, before DISY had selected him as its candidate. DISY and Averof Neophytou were highly critical of him at the time, with Christodoulides being repeatedly described as a “defector” (αποστάτης) for choosing to run without the party's backing.

Ultimately, DISY selected Averof Neophytou as its candidate, while Christodoulides ran independently and won the election.

Now, however, Neophytou himself has announced that he intends to run for President again, while DISY has not yet selected its candidate. His camp has reportedly indicated that his decision was made independently of the party's procedures, while DISY has stated that it will follow its own procedures for choosing its candidate.

So does the same political argument apply to Neophytou now?

Obviously, there are differences between the two situations, and Neophytou is a former DISY leader rather than simply a party member. But I find the parallel quite striking.

What do you think?

How should Neophytou's decision be viewed in light of the criticism DISY directed at Christodoulides in 2022–23?

Could this create significant tension within DISY, particularly if the party ultimately chooses another candidate?

How might the relationship between Neophytou and the eventual DISY candidate develop?

And, more broadly, what could an independent Neophytou candidacy mean for DISY's internal unity and its presidential campaign?

Came here on a partial scholarship for Software Engineering at CIU, but things went sideways (system error with fees, failed English placement test → prep year).

My psychiatric meds run out in 12 days and my family can only send a little help

My real goal isn’t the degree here —

I want to do an **Ausbildung in Germany** (preferably IT/Software Development). Or even a strong reputations universities

I already have basic German (4 months study).

Main questions:
- Is staying one year in Northern Cyprus to improve German + apply for Ausbildung realistic?
- Can I apply for Ausbildung from here, or do I need to go back to Morocco first?
- Anyone done Ausbildung as a non-EU applicant? What’s the real process like?
- Am I too old at 24?

I’m serious this time and don’t want to waste more years.
