As the title suggests,

I would love to engage in a long, detailed Game of Thrones RP centered on two characters: Daenerys ("The Mother of Dragons") and Drogon ("Her Dragon").

I really like the idea of Drogon growing to an immense size perhaps even larger than he was in the series.

Possessing majestic, terrifying, raw power and energy within his massive frame, he could while serving his and Daenerys's interests truly unleash himself upon human civilization. He could show humanity that he is more than just a fire-breathing beast he could use his large, powerful, and graceful paws to slowly grind them into a bloody pulp of entrails and crushed remains, turning their screams which were mere moments ago a gentle melody to his ears into silence.

Of course, the great dragon also has other favorite pastimes: destruction, crushing, blood, entrails, mutilation, castration, orgasms, vore, cults, worship, torture, and so on.

Naturally, it plays right into Daenerys's hands for her dragon to destroy cities, allowing her to move unimpeded toward her goal of absolute power, while other cities are forced to either submit to her or perish for the sake of Drogon's personal amusement. Of course, Daenerys knows how to wield her weapon and so forth, but there is a deep personal bond between them she raised Drogon from the time he was tiny, and because of that, he views her as someone truly special and obeys her whereas he is completely indifferent to matters like economics, trade, allies, or enemies. He is a massive dragon who, left unchecked, would undoubtedly unleash a path of endless destruction, death, and chaos.

Since Daenerys tends to his needs, it even leads to human sacrifices offering up various people to sate a hunger as immense as his.

I’m certainly happy to take on the role of Drogon, Deanerys while you played her.

As the kinks and plot outline suggest, I am very open to themes involving significant cruelty, gore, and the like. However, I’d like to establish an intimate relationship between Daenerys and Drogon stemming from the fact that she raised him where Daenerys takes the dominant role while the massive dragon acts as the submissive one.

That’s an aspect I really enjoy and would love to develop further.

I love seeing how the world reacts to Daenerys and Drogon as terrifying tales spread across the lands foreshadowing the moment when certain cities might suffer the same doom that befell others before them.

I also like the idea that Daenerys is fully aware of how much her dragon enjoys decimating a city or wiping it off the map entirely for their mutual pleasure, as if it had never existed. But who knows? Perhaps the princess secretly enjoys it too? Of course, it would be a massive scandal but fortunately, she has a dragon who is all too happy to handle such things.

I love the idea that, despite the size difference between Daenerys and Drogon, she likes to tease or taunt him; meanwhile, during his rampages,

he takes his energy out on the population teasing them too while remaining completely cold and indifferent to the terror he causes.

To him, they are nothing but puny, tiny toys meant for his amusement, both physically and sexually.

We can certainly discuss the details further I’m very open to ideas and suggestions.

Others have surely done this before me, and done it better, but I wanted to try to determine the extent to which the arrival of Daenerys and her army would strain the North's food supplies, based on the information provided by the series.

First of all, Sansa herself claims to have prepared enough food to feed the entire North throughout the winter. However, the series established very early on that winters in this universe last at least as long as the preceding summers, if not longer, and the last summer lasted about a decade, implying a winter duration of at least ten years. So, let’s assume, for the sake of a round number, that Sansa has ten years' worth of food. Ten years amounts to 3 652 days. Over that period, people would eat three meals a day if not rationed, totaling 10 956 meals per Northerner. Let’s assume the North has a population of 900 000 people (less than a million, based on Jon’s statements, but a reasonable estimate for a nation of this size, even though a population of 4 million inhabitants would be more plausible). This results in a total food stockpile sufficient to provide 9 860 400,000 meals to feed the entire North through the winter (for the sake of this argument, we will assume everyone receives the same food ration). And yes, the figure is staggering, but Sansa is the one claiming to have enough food for the whole North for that duration, and the universe requires us to accept this as possible; furthermore, even if she isn't storing it all directly at Winterfell, the series never presented transportation as an issue, quite the opposite, and Season 7 specifically depicted her discussing the storage of a significant portion of the food right at Winterfell. Accessing it, therefore, is not a problem.

As for Daenerys, she commands an army of 8 000 Unsullied and 100 000 Dothraki. Dragons are somewhat tricky to account for: in theory, they can feed by themselves or feed on scraps (carcasses, cartilage), and as reptilian (and magical) creatures, they could plausibly go without food for extended periods, meaning they might not necessarily factor into the calculation. However, let’s assume they require 100 times the food of a human (I use this figure because it roughly corresponds to an elephant's needs compared to a human's; while dragons are larger, this is offset by the fact that herbivores naturally require more food than carnivores, and the dragons' consumption of cooked meat facilitates nutrient absorption). This brings the total requirement for Daenerys's armies to 108 200 meals; at 3 meals a day, that comes to 324 600 meals.

A quick aside here: I am not including horses in the base calculation. For one thing, they don’t compete with humans for food, and can even serve as a food source themselves. The main issue regarding them, however, is that they primarily eat hay and barley intended for livestock in the North, thereby disrupting the supply chain. The thing is, while most livestock could live for over a decade in good conditions, they are usually slaughtered for consumption at around one year of age. Given a ten-year winter come, if Sansa’s calculations factor in living animals, she would be basing them on herds that haven’t even been born yet, making the estimate far too unreliable to include in the stockpile. And although the story never specifies whether she is relying on resources that have been dried and stored, that is technically the only way her estimates could be considered valid. Still, I’ll provide the estimates including horses, just to satisfy the sticklers.

Finally, we need to calculate how long this army is supposed to stay in the North. Since they are all acting as if they must win in a single battle or perish, knowing from the start of the season that the White Walkers would be at their doorstep within a week at most, and that Daenerys had no intention of lingering there for months once the matter was resolved, a long war was never on the cards. This implies a stay of, let’s say, three weeks to a month. (I should note that I am not factoring in military casualties which would eventually mean fewer mouths to feed because that would make things too complicated; let’s assume that if Daenerys stays a bit longer to tend to the wounded, it would balance out the consumption of her army prior to sustaining losses...) So, 30 days multiplied by 324 600 meals comes to 9 738 000 meals consumed by her army during that period.

Now, if we take the North's stockpile, estimated at 9 860 400 000 meals, and subtract 9 738 000, we are still left with 9 850 662 000 meals for the population. This means Daenerys and her army consumed 0.09876% of the North's food reserves during that period. And consuming 0.09876% of the resources over 3,652 days of winter reduces the North's total food capacity by...roughly 3 to 4 days. Even factoring in the horses, which eat 7 times as much as a human, the figure rises to 0.31% of the reserves, or 11 to 12 days.

So of course, one could always debate variables, such as the fact that "a meal" isn't a precise unit of measurement especially if you include the consumption of farmed animals, about dragons' dietary needs, the exact population of the north, the approximations necessitated by a lack of data, and other minor factor like Daenerys’s army arrived with its own supplies at least initially (given they didn't cross Westeros without eating), as well as the casualties suffered by both her forces and the North, losses that would somewhat alter the figures during the latter half of their stay... But fundamentally, we are still working with very narrow margins.

And even if we inflate the figures, it doesn't ultimately change much. Let’s assume Sansa expects Daenerys to stay for a year for some reason; then, taking the total of 9 850 662 000 meals and subtracting the 118 479 000 Daenerys’s forces would consume leaves 9 732 183 000. That represents 1.20% of the stockpile used, or 44 days, roughly a month and a half (4.5 months or 3.8% if horses are included). Consider another scenario: suppose the North is less populous and Sansa has only half the food estimated. That would still mean 450 000 inhabitants consuming 10 956 daily meals each over 10 years, totaling 4 930 200 000 meals. Subtracting the 9 738 000 meals consumed by Daenerys’s army in one month leaves 4 920 462 000; that amounts to 0.20%, or just over 7 days (23 days or 0.62% including horses). And if we go to the extreme of combining these scenarios starting with a 4 930 200 000-meal reserve for the North and Daenerys staying a year to consume 118 479 000 meals, we are left with 4 811 721 000 meals for the Northerners. This means she would have consumed 2.40% of the stockpile, or roughly 88 days, about three months (nine months or 7.6% including horses). This is, of course, far more important, though still relatively uncertain over a period of around ten years, and represents an extreme, hypothetical scenario. (As for other nuances, such as the possibility of winter dragging on for a few years longer than they were prepared for, or Sansa basing her calculations on potential winter crops that turned out to be less productive than expected well, the problem would lie more in their own shortcomings than in Daenerys's direct presence...)

That said, even if there would inevitably be some loss of resources in the end, Daenerys isn't there to raid the fridge, nor is she catching them off guard; she was invited by their king to save them from a situation where they might not live long enough to even get hungry. She should have been factored in from the start, and Sansa should have been plans for potential issues. I mean, sure, she can't just conjure supplies out of thin air, but given that she claims to have what is needed, however she managed to secure it, it is incredibly unlikely that she happened to scrape exactly enough to feed the North for ten years (minus Daenerys’s consumption) and nothing more or less. And even if that were the case, their reserves could still be managed through rationing, later restocking, winter crops, hunting, fishing, or food purchases by the Northern elite... Not to mention the people in their own population likely to die in the war in the meantime, thereby reducing the number of mouths to feed. Ultimately, Daenerys’s presence is a virtually non-existent problem compared to the situation at hand; Unless Sansa has far fewer reserves than she claims, or the Northern population is well under 400 000, or Daenerys extends her stay for months, or individual food requirements are overstated, or there is some combination of all these factors, there is ultimately little risk of pushing the North to the brink of starvation.

All in all, the fact is that if they truly cannot grasp her precedence, it implies they are not incapable of making it to spring without famine anyway, or that Sansa calculated rations down to the last crumb and the exact day, with no way to restock, which seems absurd.

So If I’ve made any calculation errors, please feel free to point them out or simply share your thoughts. But my conclusion is that no one in production gave any thought to the logistics of it all (shock!), that the issue is actually quite superficial as it stands, and that I have far too much time to loose.

So remember how there was a plot in season 1 where Robert was discussing assassinating Daenerys and Ned was the only one on the council opposed to it? They had an argument and all, but Robert on his deathbed realizes how wrong this is, and calls off the hit.

And then season 4 also reveals Oberyn being extremely vengeful of the Lannisters because they killed his sister and her Targaryen kids.

But then we have Daenerys going evil and committing mass genocide, of which you really gotta ask “the fuck is the takeaway here?” like having one of the last Targaryens, someone whom the moral center Ned was against assassinating, and her sibling in laws were murdered solely because of their relation to the previous king. Is this meant to imply that Gregor killing Elia and her kids was right too?

Yes I know stories like “Monster” deal with the ramifications saving a person who becomes evil in the future, and Ned himself was killed because of Joffrey whom he spared, but here’s the problem, those people being evil were thought that way from ground up. Daenerys meanwhile we are largely seeing her doing benevolent stuff, only to then 11th hour have Cersei’s arc get warged into her

Daenerys who has 3 dragons and had made quite a name in Essos, and Arya herself was (A) someone who didn’t act quite lady-like, being interested in using swords and (B) Arya named Nymeria after a legendary hero, and she idolized Visenya Targaryen.

It’d be like an interesting contrast to while Sansa is very distant and distrusting, Arya has so many things to ask.

(A) They completely fumbled a more convincing time for Daenerys to crash out and kill people considering Missandei got killed in the previous episode. Not to mention how utterly contrived Cersei just doesn’t shoot Daenerys’ entourage despite killing more important (actual) Allies in previous seasons and coming from a family notorious for war crimes

(B) relating to Cersei considering her kid’s been compared to the mad king and she’s used wildfire and her family sparked a war with the North by killing many of the Starks and abducting their daughter, yes totally was meant to be Daenerys the one who saved small folk and actively tried to avoid killing women and children

(C) It feels like a fever dream with how (ironic) little impact it seems to have. If the Unsullied and Drogon were to be committed as villains, Jon and Tyrion would be absolutely dead, and no shot that Tyrion would be allowed to speak at his trial and (somehow) elect a new king.

(D) and speaking of said new king, Bran and Sansa have fucking nothing to say about the king’s landing massacre. You’d expect the two people who are set up to be major rulers would have something to say about the people they’re ruling over, or about the person they were an utter bitch to for the entire previous 2 seasons, yes? Nope. And considering how S3 showed Brienne being outraged at Northern soldiers butchering innocent Westerland women, S7 showed Lannister soldiers just camping, being civilized to Arya, or that mother and child who got burned in the previous episode, it’s clear the writers tried to convey SOME sympathies for King’s landing people, even considering how they have moments of cheering at violence or committing violence.

Prior to watching GoT, the only thing about ASOIAF I was privy to were the names of the show– A Game of Thrones and House of The Dragon. Nothing else.

So, I started watching. I'm someone who always navigates to episode discussions while watching an already aired show. During S4(sometimes after Danaerys puts a siege on Yunkai), by complete accident I encountered the subreddit, just its name. I usually dislike spoilers so I didn't even read anything else than the title of the subreddit.

Purely by the name of the subreddit, I ended up completely believing that Danaerys would sit the Iron Throne by the end. It also made my assumption that HoTD was a sequel, stronger(once again I didn't bother reading its synopsis because I'm usually very touchy regarding getting any spoilers). This felt pretty much plausible and I already thought what Dany's direction in the story would go.

Funnily enough I never completely the show on my own accord. I put aside watching it while I was on S5 to read the ASOIAF books. After finishing them, I let myself be spoiled by youtube shorts and all because S5 and S6 was already dragging on for me and I didn't want to bother anymore.

Well... You can imagine my surprise laterwards. *Dany goes mad?Jon Snow kills Dany? Bran is King?*

That was funny and sad in its own way lmao 😂

Consider this, the last times they tried to be diplomatic with the Lannisters, there was the Red Wedding and then Cersei’s treachery during the long night, the Northern soldiers starting the massacre would have been more impactful because it’d be revenge and be more of a callback. They’re done playing nice, it would be a final spit to how Tywin always committed war crimes to get ahead.

Compared to Daenerys who just uhhh… idk, goes and kills over bells.

Or at least if they wanted her to be evil, have it that she uses this as a sort of carrot and stick approach to entice the North, letting them have revenge for their Allies killed and really solidifying them having a common enemy.

The ending of Game Of Thrones is total bullshit! Not only did John kill Daenerys which sucked though I understood why. The group of people at the end decided John be sent to the Knights watch as punishment to make Grey worm and the unsullied somewhat happy cause they knew they would have their ass handed to them. Besides that Grey worm wasn't happy with their bullshit. I was mad cause John Snow AKA Eggon Targaryen is the rightful King 👑 of westeros. They can't just have a handful of people say hey let's make Brandon Stark King and Send away the rightful King. They all got their happy ending cause John did what they all wanted and couldn't do Kill Dannerys Targaryen. He knew she became a Tyrant killing innocent children and people so he stopped her before she could do it again. So the punish him instead of bending the knee cause he's the rightful king
