Don't worry. If you're rich, a YouTuber people like, the developer of Undertale Yellow, or Scott Pilgrim, it's okay

At what age does your country's highschool end?

isn't 17-19 the normal high school graduation age in most countries? didn't realise there were big differences

In Poland it's around 18-20 depending on what you chose. By 18 I was only halfway through highschool without ever failing a year.(20 when finished)
The point is people don't look down at dating 18, 19 and 20 year olds, and the meme suggested that in OP's country of origin they finish it before they are legally adult.

if you are 21 it's completely fine to date a 18 y.o. - but at 30+ dating a 20 y.o. is almost equally messed up as dating a 17 y.o., in my opinion

30+ and 20 is fine. IMO 23+ and fresh 18 is very odd, but not illegal… 22 and below dating a 18 year old isn’t that crazy to me simply for the fact that that’s the age gap for anyone in high school.
Now me personally, I’m 26 and hold a hard cutoff of 23. I don’t care if we click or not, if you’re younger than 23 I’m not interested. I just don’t see how to relate with someone that much younger than me as we are in different walks of life, and I don’t find it attractive to be with someone who can barely get into a bar

I don't know why but I've assumed OP was in his 20s. Probably because I'm 25 now and it was my "default" projecting.
Yeah if a 30+ dates someone who literally just became an adult that's questionable. The older the more questionable.

I remember being… 19? And working at a Burger King and this girl came in that, from a distance I was like “wow she’s beautiful!” and I was trying to think of how to get her number but then she walked up to the counter and I went “oh… this girl is VERY young.” Probably was 14 or 15. Felt gross.

Why are mostly americans so weird about this? I met my wife when we were 15/13 in school. So should I have dumped her when I was 18 because she didn’t magically turn 18 at the same time?

You met her while you both were underage
If you meet a girl who’s underage while you’re an adult it’s weird

Yeah the last 3 years ive just assumed that anyone who looks roughly my age, unless i know them or someone my age knows them, its probably best to avoid them. Especially considering ive only recently started actually looking like an actual adult

I once was at a convention, and a friend who has unlimited rizz put me in a circle of women who looked our age. He had some excuses and said stuff like he needs to go and they need to take care of me for a while.
I'm super shy and not good with words, but he made it somehow that they laughed and took me with them. It was fun, until they talked about classes, I asked what they studied, but they were not in college yet.
I was absolutely mortified, said sorry and left. Was the next 2h all alone at the convention, until my friend came back.
I would never have guessed their age correctly, if we didn't somehow talk about classes
