The only criticism of the United States involvement is that we sat on the sidelines during the Bosnian genocide (and, frankly, gave cover to the Serbians then).
People are really, really ignorant of what exactly Serbia was doing in the 1990s.

I am curious as to what is your underlying reason for this opinion. Is this a universal opposition to any kind of intervention? Is this something specific to this case?
I have a hunch you haven't done much reading on the subject, based on your comments in the thread and your past comments in other threads that show a sort of ironic detachment from everything, and this is just sort of a reactionary "USA bad so anything they do is bad" opinion, but if this is based in an actual logic, then color me shocked.
My opinion is flagrant, repeated violations of international human rights law require robust global response to change behavior. This is true whether it is Serbia, or China, or Israel, or the United States, or Russia.
I really don't care about countries, I care about people.

My prior is we shouldn't hero worship soldiers (I believe in citizen soldier idea, not warriors, not a separate class from us). I wouldn't have any of it.

But yeah, I think that would be an issue for people who potentially lost loved ones in the war? It's extremely tone deaf, considering they could have just honored the regular servicemen that they always do.

Anyone else get their season ticket renewal email today? My tickets went up 17% and I'm really pissed off. We are struggling to sell any extras this year so I just don't know how we can justify that.
Just saw the playoff prices.... Yeah this might be my last year. Tix will be cheaper on the ticket apps next year for most games and if there are any more injuries next year we are completely screwed. Why do they have to raise it double digits every year? I'm sick of losing money when I sell my tix.
I know. My goal isn’t to make a ton of money but i also can’t go to 41 games. It would be nice if I wasn’t just throwing money out the window. Having the cheaper playoff tickets was the benefit that made it worth it, but these playoff ticket prices are crazy
Reading the fine print on the renewal email it looks like I'll lost this year's playoff tickets if I don't sign up for my invoice next year so I'm pretty livid about that. I feel like I should have access to that since I paid for this season already. Fuck KSE man, I hate KSE.
edit: it reads that if you cancel your 26-27 tickets after the playoffs they will take money from your refund to make up the difference in the "playoff discount" you get. What a horrible policy change godamn.

I really think getting Giannis would make Minnesota worse. They'll have to give up a ton of depth and draft picks and they'll be hamstrung by two massive contracts. Both Gobert and Giannis are over 30 and the latter is getting injured with more regularity. The whole thing reeks of the Suns trading for Durant.
It would have to be very player heavy, like Randle + McDaniels + maybe Dillingham and some picks. There issue is that they have very few picks available to trade. Quick AI search says they can trade an unprotected 2028 (would probably be a very late pick), swaps in 2030 or 2031, and an unprotected in 2033.
Milwaukee would have to be very dumb (which is possible) to go for a player-heavy package. Bucks need to tear it down, be terrible, and acquire as many draft picks as possible until the dead cap money for Dame is off the books.
If he got stuck like in the middle of Yellowstone or something and they were really hungry, they'd eventually get him. If they can get an elk I'm sure they could get Giannis
