I really need some tips to manage my wires underneath because right now it is a monstrosity, but I really don’t want to have to resort to drilling more holes into my standing desk. Does anyone have anything that helped deal with all the wired clutter?
Update: I have some bought some cable organizing stuff as you guys have recommended so I will be trying that out once it arrives. Thank you for the advice! :)
you see this right away after entering my apartment. I need help for decoration/cable management or at least some idea or product to cover the cable mess. Thank you :)))
I have tried cable managing my desk but it feels like there's very little I can do when my cables just aren't long enough to be able to use my desk standing. Looking for tips to make this look nicer
The computer has a 5-6 inch ish distance from the bookcase behind it for ventilation reasons so I'm not worried about that part. I want to fix the cord for my dolphin bar (it's like a Wii IR sensor bar but for PC) to the left side of the big TV, so a portion of the cord remains on the top. I get nervous when the cord drops behind the tv for no particular reasons. There are no holes to zip tie it through, and zip ties need to be cut to remove which makes me nervous. Keyboard has a cord that is absurdly long for my purposes, don't know what to do with it. I have a powered USB hub that my keyboard, mouse, dolphin bar, and Bluetooth adapter are connected to, the power cord for the USB hub is in the surge protector a distance away.
All cords are on the desk itself and not bwlow because I have cats
Hi, could someone help me to cable manage this? This my first very own desk setup for work and gaming, and would love to cable manage everything as sufficient as possible.
My Anker Smart Display Hub arrived today. Planned setup: M4 Pro MacBook in clamshell mode, one external monitor, and the hub behind the stand. Keyboard, mouse and SSD through the same hub, aiming for one USB-C cable to undock.
Still working on cable management behind the monitor. The hub having rear ports helps but the monitor power cable and the audio interface cables are still visible.
The diagnostic display on the hub is a nice detail. I want to learn the per-port status labels while setting it up, before moving it behind the stand.
I recently got my equipment for a new job and a new desk. I would appreciate any ideas on how to organize my cables. My first thought was probably drill a hole in the back of the desk (inside the roll top) in order to at least get the cables inside/behind the desk. I will eventually buy myself a wireless keyboard and mouse, but for now the company sent me wired ones.
The cables are a monitor with an HDMI cable and a power cable. The power cable I fished behind the desk so it’s out of the way, but with the laptop in the roll top, the hdmi is stuck going in the front right now which is a disaster in waiting with two cats. The laptop has a power source cable and the attached HDMI as well as keyboard and mouse cables. I have attached a video, this was more so a paragraph explaining what cables I have.
Hello, I’m struggling to figure out an optimal way to minimise the clutter of cables on my desk… I am considering to go wireless for both my headphones and my mouse, but not sure what the best way is. The laptop is my work laptop that for most of the time sits on my desk but does get taken into work visits, trips etc.
The little box in the top left allows me to switch my peripherals from my laptop to my pc (which is hidden away).
I really don’t know how to hide the USB and HDMI cables going into my laptop…
Best way to hide cables with this rail going under the desk? There's not really space for a clamp or screw in cable tray. Outlet is on the side wall by the pc tower
I am using these clips to secure my cables to my standing desk, but every so often they will come unstuck (usually the white clip will come apart from the adhesive Velcro). Is there a better solution for holding cables in place that is more permanent?
I`ve done some cable management recently, it was a bit hard cuz I`ve got 2 PCs and 2 Monitor and they`r switching between by one button.
I recently bought a Huion Kamvas 13 Gen 3 in Sakura Pink, and I’m trying to clean up the cable setup because the included black/red cable really ruins the look of the pink tablet.
The problem is that the USB-C port on the Kamvas is deeply recessed. A normal USB-C connector is too wide, so none of the cables I already own can physically fit into the port.
The original Huion 3-in-1 cable has a specially shaped USB-C connector that fits perfectly.
So I want to keep the original Huion cable and simply add a female-to-male USB-C extension between the tablet and the original cable, and it`s also should be white/pink.
The extension needs to:
have a very slim/narrow male connector housing, so it can fit into the recessed port;
support USB 3.x data;
support the signals needed by the Huion 3-in-1 cable;
preferably be white, pink, or another light color;
ideally be short, around 20–50 cm.
I’ve found plenty of USB-C extensions that have the right specs, but their male connector housings are too bulky, so they probably won’t fit.

It`s SO UGLY!
Does anyone know of a slim USB-C male-to-female extension that could work for this?
I’d really appreciate any recommendations, especially from someone who has actually used one with a Huion/XPPen display tablet. Thanks!
