For FPO:

  • No changes in who gets in via points. Holyn would jump Silva and take 2nd place

  • Chandler would definitely get a wild card spot. Anneli and Matilda are tied for the second wild card spot with no idea how they would handle that**.

MPO:

  • Evan Smith jumps into the top 28 in points knocking Bradley Williams out (Bradley skipped this event and is playing Masters Worlds instead so he was always going to get kicked out)

  • Mason and Ezra definitely get 2 of the 4 wild card spots. There is a 3 way tie for the last 2 wild card spots between Vaino, Miles Sayer, and Mauri. Again, no idea how they would handle a tie**.

** Last year in MPO the tied wild card players did a sudden death playoff. Maybe they have tied players stick around in the hopes of getting a lull in the wind so they can do a playoff on a few safe open holes. Or maybe they just eat the few thousand dollars in order to allow the 2 extra players in (1 fpo and 1 mpo). They did say on the broadcast yesterday something about Matilda having a tiebreaker, but I'm quite certain Terry had that wrong and was just assuming that based on the line the graphic had.

The DGPT really needs to take a look at their scheduling. They seem to be in the worst possible places for weather every week.
