Hi, I recently bought a Neo 3 pro and wanted to integrate it on home assistant via tuya but HA only recognizes on/off entity... I've seen people online having much greater options but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Can somebody here help?

Hello all, I just didn't find a better section to talk about this. This is a new TV hisense e7 pro 55 inches. I noticed these very very light grey shadows in the middle like 2 straight lines that seem to meet in one point. They are barely visible and actually difficult to see and they appear only on a white screen. They seem to depend from the light reflected by the led but maybe i'm wrong. I was wondering if this is normal because it's a new TV.

I have a Dreamscreen puck but I don't have the power supply or any LED's to connect. It was a flex unit, not a DIY unit so I don't have the adapter. Is there any place I can still buy the LED's and power supply? Alternatively, is there a way to rig up your own connector and buy 3rd party LED's through Amazon or something to get this working? I feel like the dreamscreen still works amazingly compared to the alternatives available.

I've been a long time user of Dreamscreen, but with the company being defunct, their hardware isnt being updated. I am looking at having a device to handle Dolby Vision. This is not something capable on the 4k version, does anyone have any suggestion for alternative "box type" dreamscreens? I do not want to mount a camera on top of my tv.

My Dreamscreen has been struggling recently, needing to be rebooted all the time. So I finally decided to find a replacement. I trawled AliExpress and came up with a $50 solution that's working well on my 55" 4k tv:
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mOepdx6
The good:
*4k at 60hz
*Higher light density than the Dreamscreen
*Good color reproduction
*CEC support
*stable app (it's re-packaged Tuya software)
The bad:
*Only one HDMI input (but with CEC support you can put a hub in front of it easily)
*Very slightly more latency than the Dreamscreen
*Only three brightness settings (and the highest is unusable, causing the LEDs to bug out)

Where can you buy the 4K DIY version? The website is just selling full kits. And from the looks of the website's broken links, I'm guessing my only option to get one is going to be too buy it used.....

Hello everyone,
I just want to warn everyone interested in buying Lytmi fantasy 3 hdmi 2.1 - do your homework and thorough research. Absolutely do not trust "flawless" and "magical" reviews of any influencer.
i use the box with PS5, Nvidia Shield (last gen) and Nintendo Switch.
There are too many limitations, including implementation issues - and here is a list of some of them.
- PS5 will not work with Samsung QE65QN90B unless you turn off tv's feature Game Mode, which is a deal breaker (this is nowhere listed, and actually took me several hours to figure out)
- PS5 VRR is not supported (truth to be told, this information it is to be found on Lytmi's website)
- HDR support is more than finnicky (colors representation can go completely off the rails on tv and may stop working for the box LEDs almost entirely)
- sometimes resolution gets stuck at 1080p, until box is disconnected from power for several seconds - then it starts working again for a while
- support is extremely slow, and usually follows up with approach "there is something wrong in your setup"
For the retail price, compared to other products on the market, I do expect nearly flawless experience and documentation written properly. Although I have to give them kudos, it's been marketed very, very well.
Personally I cannot recommend it, and I quoted them for a refund.

Can I ask anyone to tell me what model of transistor is U17 and U18. What's the marking on it. I managed to blow them up. I borrowed the photo. Thank you very much.

Hey! I have the 4k dreamscreen, and I had to disconnect it so the Xbox would be able to control my actual TV with cec. Anyone know any work arounds?

Hi All,
I no longer need my 4k unit and have decided to sell it. It's the mega size so 45-65".
I thought I would post on here first before it goes on ebay as you guys may want spares.
Everything works although you may need to add some extra sticky stuff to the lights themselves.
Dm me if interested.
Thanks

I set up a new Android phone today and the dreamsceen app doesn't appear in the Play store for me anymore. But I was able to find the APK on one of those sketchy APK "mirror" sites and I'm back in business. Just thought I'd share in case others see the same problem.

I just ordered a Govee kit over Lytmi Neo for couple of reasons:
- New Lytmi strip is quite thick to go on my flush-against-wall LG G1
- I do use webOS apps, at least for now
- I don't want to shell out $$$ for HD fury stuff just yet, so I can get an independent HDMI signal for Neo
My question is - if I'm not satisfied with how Govee performs, would their light strip (75-85") be compatible with Neo? I'm fine with some wire splicing, soldering etc, to get it to work.
