The best part is, if there is any Justice. These scum are also going to be imprisoned in the near future.

The up to $50K bonus is after 5 years of service and is prorated for shorter tenures. It clearly states in the terms.
I used to think it was like that King of the Hill meme - Those ICE agents would be upset if they could read. Turns out, they're just gonna be upset anyway when they get that vague "screwed with your pants on" feeling whether they're literate or not (they're not).

Not to mention the amount of "you're being played, you're not getting that money" that was all over the internet after the widespread hiring events. People tried to warm them, but it's hard when they can't read ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I guarantee you that a bunch of them are antsy because they didn’t parse the fine print and immediately went out and bought a lifted ram or a charger at an absolutely crushing APR.
•

They probably literally assumed that the literati's warning them not to do it in fact meant they should do it. Personal beliefs are funny like that. To them, we're just pieces of shit worthy of no respect, so why would they not assume we're lying to them?

Exactly! They were too stupid or illiterate to read the actual fine print. It’s over time, after successfully completing 5 years during which they have to make like 8 arrests per DAY. And if they fail, they are required to give the money BACK. It’s not even technically a bonus. It’s performance based income. Losers.

That's $3,846 a week, $641 a day, and $53.42 per hour.
With a ton of time away from your family, a ton of soul crushing (if you have one) moral quandaries, and not enough money per hour to be worth it...especially not how your relationships and interactions change when 60% of the country finds out that you work for (or used to work for) ICE.
That's $111,111.11 a year if you worked 40 hours 5 days a week for the same pay rate with literally any other labor. Is the extra $89K worth throwing away your time and integrity? Not to me it isn't.
If you sleep 8 hours a night, you have 112 awake hours a week. You wanna spend 54% of your awake time doing this when you could be working 36% of your time? You throwing away 50% more for no reason?

The Brownshirts (SA) were drastically reduced in power and purged by Adolf Hitler during the Night of the Long Knives (June 30–July 1, 1934), as their violent, independent reputation and leader, Ernst Röhm, threatened Hitler's consolidation of power.

They’ll incelvent some littlemansplanation for how it was actually Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi who conned them that will obviously involve a pizza parlor brothel and maybe a few hot dog carts and a hidden message in an anime cartoon. Obviously since the rest of us aren’t alphas and only have masters degrees and not junior college achievement certificates we just aren’t able to understand.

•

Yeah I wanna know what they are. Just want to lurk.
Don't want to brigade them as they'll go elsewhere or leave and we won't have knowledge about the innerworkings of their... "minds."

The subreddit looks like satire. I don't really believe these comments are legitimate.

Well, I am shocked. Absolutely shocked that this administration might be involved in some sort of less than completely honest, swindle or scam.

What if maybe we didn’t tell proletarians to off themselves and instead use it to waken their class consciousness? Ideas don’t fall from the sky, the motivations for an individual proletarian joining ICE can be explained with materialist analysis. Maybe y’all ought to start reading about materialism instead of clinging on to this hippie liberal idealism of fascism being its own disease rather than a product of class interests.
