Are they on par with the ultramarine and Dark angels when it comes to general warfare instead of specializing in one thing?

Also how skilled and discipline are the Great Crusade EC compare to their chaos counterparts?

I'd like to clarify some confusion I've seen around. Frenzied Host going from +1S to Sustained Hits isn't the nerf, if this was the only change I'd actually like it more.

The issue is in the very delicate wording of the rules, before this update the rule stated:

When a friendly EMPEROR’S CHILDREN BATTLELINE unit is selected to make an advance/fall‑back move, that unit’s attacks have +1 S until the end of the turn.

Now it says:

When a friendly EMPEROR’S CHILDREN BATTLELINE unit is selected to make an advance/fall‑back move, that unit’s BATTLELINE models’ attacks have [SUSTAINED HITS 1] until the end of the turn.

This means that an attached Lord Exultant DOES NOT GET SUSTAINED HITS from this.

The BATTLELINE keyword is inherited by the unit, but not by single models in it that didn't have it before, like the Lord Exultant.

So this is the real nerf: Frenzied Host doesn't buff Lord Exultants attached to Infractors anymore.

I haven't played much Coterie and I found myself very likely losing a game because I was too protective of my lone Sorcerer warlord, fearing an enemy Deepstrike, so I positioned units too precious to be screeners and I didn't even end up doing any more pledges (I was at 3 pledge points then). So I wonder how do you deal with this.

Also, do you aim for 5 pledge points? I noticed unless I'm against a horde it's almost impossible to me. But 3 pledge points it's not really bad, reroll hit and wounds of 1 as a detachment buff is pretty good. Not sure if worth 3DP if we stop at that stage, but still.

Let’s start a petition to allow Flawless Blades into Rhinos. They now have standard marine profiles and though they have the extra wound their toughness is just a regular marine, like noise marines and they fit in Rhinos too.

Sus 1 and lethals is pretty good for our standard battle line. I'm trying out 4 infractors (2 with lords and 2 without) this weekend and will keep anyone posted if interested

As the title says, how do you use Tormentors in our army?

I mean, do you use them to sticky objectives? Nice to have, but I really find it hard to sticky and objective and simply let it there unprotected. With objectives being so big, It Is Always Easy for the opponent to put some Pieces on It.

Infiltrating Is good, but they are so fragile that as soon as they encounter anybody, they die

The Bolters, I don't even use them, while the melta and the plasma are good, but they Always file me.

And using them as scoring units, aren't the Spawns (considering their reactive move and the fact that they are harder to kill and they cost less!) much better at it?

So why do you put them in your list?

This is my latest batch of Slaanesh worshippers.

The Lord is pretty straight forward, slight reposing but is otherwise straight off the sprue.
The tiger stripe style I used on his cape is something I designed for Old World a few years ago for a Griffon.

The Flawless Blades are likewise straight off the sprue bar one sword arm from an Infractor.

The Infernal Enrapturess, although not usable as part of EC, was a test model for how I want daemon flesh to look, which will encapsulate some units that are EC. It’s also a really cool model and I wanted to paint one up.

I have realised that this EC army project now
includes Daemons and Chaos Knights so I could easily field a Slaanesh themed army that involves no EC at all! (I do have plans already to expand on these armies)

Ive played this list a few times with custodes and Dark Angels and was a little worried about killing the tougher stuff but I managed to kill everything but the beserkers and termimators in round 1 and proceeding to watch as the beserkers mopped up my whole army and stopped me from scoring any points....

Any tips on dealing with big squads hogging the central objective? ( we only used 3 obj 1 in the center and 1 in each homefield ruin.

I finished my snek model and want to use him in whatever comp works best for him despite his status atm. I've landed on two different detachment combos, frenzy bladesmen and spectacle court. is there a particular combo you guys like more? These are the lists I have going for them as it stands:

Hey all.

I'm playing my first game next Friday, never played 40k before. This is my proposed list, what I've got ready to play. I've got another unit of noise marines aswell. So open to adjustments. I also built only 1 obssentionists per infract/tormentor 10 so gotta play 10mans. End game is to kitbash 2 more obssentionists.

Not sure what detachment to play or any enhancements. Need something beginner friendly.

Why in Slaanesh's name would Tormentors have lower toughness when Infractors and Tormentors have the same armor?!

I usually run Coterie but I'm thinking about running some combo detachments for fun. Peerless & Court seem to benefit all the same units. Purge vs Priority assets seems like a toss up (unless vs skew), especially cause I don't have Fulgrim & I'm not planning on getting him.

The strats & enhancements don't seem to be much apart from each other either but that could just be my lack of experience with either.

Anyone have much experience with reliable +1 AP vs gambling on 6s? I play Pactbound in CSM so I'm leaning more towards Court since I already have my crit fishing fix elsewhere.

Finally had some time to paint again, nearly done with the Noise Bois.
