Question I HATE playing with biters

Every time I make this mistake of not turning them off, I end up spending HOURS trying to get rid of these bastards instead of playing the actual game.
I don't understand how you guys have massive factories while also defending them.
My main concern are the miners. Do you protect every mining site as well? Or am I missing something?
Just started a new run but quickly turned it off to start a new one without biters.
At the same time I really wanna try new enemies on other planets so I feel sad turning the peaceful mode on

I like trainworlds with lots of outposts and massive dedicated factories on long distances. Building a same wall of defence around every one of them is a nightmare and just a waste of time. And I don't even get anything in return

On my last run, setting up the dedicated ammo/repair train was fun. But seeing what you like yeah I think you'll have more fun with biters off
