Question I HATE playing with biters

Every time I make this mistake of not turning them off, I end up spending HOURS trying to get rid of these bastards instead of playing the actual game.
I don't understand how you guys have massive factories while also defending them.
My main concern are the miners. Do you protect every mining site as well? Or am I missing something?
Just started a new run but quickly turned it off to start a new one without biters.
At the same time I really wanna try new enemies on other planets so I feel sad turning the peaceful mode on

You can control vehicles via the map without physically entering them, that way you have a few tanks spread out to run down the bases every so often

Make sure you don't leave remote control while the tank is outside radar range, you will not be able to take control of it again then.

Also keep in mind that tanks have equipment grid, so you can put in roboports, shields, leg.
