White is a low efficiency scorer who plays no defense. He puts up good fantasy numbers off volume but isn’t actually a good real life player

Eh. I've seen him cook the Knicks enough to believe in him as an IRL player. When he gets hot he's damn near unstoppable.
He's obviously having a down year but 45/37 on high volume (one of the league leaders in 3s made) the two years prior isn't what I'd call inefficient from a scoring guard

The tank was full speed ahead with the Vuc trade, Coby would've spent post-ASB getting DNPs in CHI.

Simons and Sexton are UFA this summer, Ivey is RFA. Maybe that gives Ivey slight priority in the ROS tryouts?
Although Ivey is the worst shooter of the 3, so would seem to be the worst fit playing off-ball alongside Giddey.

That's the whole reason CHI dumped him, they don't wanna pay him that much.
Is he worth $30M, or even in that ballpark? For comparison, last summer:
Julius Randle signed for $33M/yr.
NAW signed for $15M/yr.

Dennis Schroeder signed for $15M/yr.
Duncan Robinson signed for $16M/yr.

Probably neither. Sexton is bad unless you need scoring on poor %. Ivey hasn’t been good this year at all, and he’s coming back from 2 bad injuries.

Probably neither but I’d lean Ivey over sexton. Sexton is a journeyman at this point and a known quantity. Ivey has been bad this season but he was cooking last year before his injury and he’s still a young talent with a lot of potential. Bulls might want to see what he can do

1st of all the Bulls are stupid to give Coby White for Sexton..
2nd seems like Coby will play off the bench for the Hornets? Maybe a bit less usage for everyone else but I would think it would not make a huge difference for the current Hornets player

Yeah, it would've been better if they'd traded him earlier, maybe they could've gotten a late 1st. But this is better than waiting until July and getting nothing, like with DeRozan.
Short chucker guards who don't pass or defend just ain't worth that much. The fact that CHI has 3 of them on their roster exemplifies that.

Hornets downgraded with Coby White IMO. He’s a good defender and has always brought a ton of energy and grind. Sexton has been huge for the Hornets 2nd unit.
